"Look what we have here, gentlemen." Tommy flashes a smile as his posse fills in around him, "Freak Two has arrived. Where's Freak One? I can't seem to find him anywhere."

"What the fuck do you want, Tommy?"

"We just told you." Another boy steps closer, getting in Angie's bubble, "We're just looking for our good ol' pal, Eddie."

"Oh, you must be Tommy's new bitch."

He let's out a scoff as he bends down into her face, "the name's Jason Carver."

"Well, Tommy's new bitch," she places her hands on his shoulders, easily shoving him away with her unexpected strength, "Get the fuck out of my face."

He quickly regains his footing as the other members of the team catch his fall.

"You're so fucking-" He charges forward, but Tommy stops him.

"Dead?" She interrupts him with a fake pout, "Yeah, I've heard that before."

Jason looks to Tommy in question as to why he can't beat that little bitch up.

"We'll get what you want," he whispers, smiling as a teacher passes by, "but not here."

He glares at Angie considering his options as she taunts him, fully ready to kick his ass.

Jason scoffs once more, fixing his letterman's jacket that had gotten disheveled when she shoved him. He glares as he stomps off along with the rest of the basketball team. Angie just blows him a kiss to enrage him more.

"You know, one of these days, he's gonna come after you." Jonathan laughs as he greets her for the school day.

"Yeah, maybe." She considers, opening her locker to grab her bag, "but I'll kick his ass when he does."

He chuckles at her confidence, knowing he could never muster up enough himself.

"Did you hear about that party at Tina's?"

"What party? Tina's hosting another party?"

"Yeah," Angie nods, "Tina hosts all the parties cause her parents are like never home."

"What's the party even for?"

"Spring break, I think."

"Spring break isn't for another month." Jonathan points out.

"Well then, Valentine's day."

He shrugs, displaying his hesitation towards going to another party, "I don't know, Ange. Parties aren't really my thing."

"They're not really my thing either. That's why we should go."

He still didn't seem too convinced, so she scrambled for another enticing reason.

"Plus... you can bring Nancy." Angie nudges his shoulder teasingly, "It is a Valentine's day party. Bring your Valentine."

"We're not an official thing yet. You know that."

"But you could be if you invited her to Tina's party as your Valentine. You could pull her close and whisper in her ear, will you be my girlfriend? Come on, don't be such a scaredy cat." She smack his shoulder in a scolding way, "she's obviously into you. I mean, you did sleep together..."

"Alright, alright," Jonathon shushes her, "If I say yes to going, will you stop?"

Angie smiles widely in victory, "Yes."

"Fine," he rolls his eyes, knowing she beat him again, "I'll go."

"Thank you. Honestly, I'm so fucking lonely with Eddie at home sick."
