Chapter 22

Erza woke up by knocking she yawned and wiped the tiredness from her eyes. She put on her slippers and walked towards the door. She opened it and was greeted by a huge bouquet of roses and chocolates that were being carried by some arms . "For you my love " she recognized his voice it was gray she started smiling. "oh gray" erza said . "Dammit how did you know !" gray said he place the things down and pulled erza towards him hugging her and kissing her neck. "Gray that tickles " she said struggling in his arms . "I can't help it your just so kissable and - that's when they heard a thump. they turned and their standing right in front of them was jellal. "Jellal" erza said .He had dropped some flowers he was bringing erza ." "So y'all are dating now? " jellal said . "Yes and unlike you I will treat erza right" gray said . jellal walked over to erza but gray stepped in front of her . "I though you still loved me ?" jellal said. "jellal the pain you put me thru was to much to bare if anything I did love you but you choose you way and now I'm moving on" erza said . "Erza please give me a chance we can make this work I promise ill do good " jellal said . "No jellal I told you already you had your chance " erza said . "Now leave her alone " gray said. "Don't put your hands on me !" jellal said. "what if I do what are you gonna do !" gray said that's when jellal anger exploded and he punched gray knocking him to the floor. "GRAY!" erza said. Gray punched jellal in the stomach making him fall back they lounged on each other rolling around throwing some punches and hits . "STOP IT STOP IT !" erza said and separated them both she went to gray side and held his hand they watched as Jellal got up and stood almost stumbling but he caught himself. He wiped the blood from his mouth "You might have her now but trust me I'm not giving up I'm gonna keep trying even if I had to go thru one of you" jellal said. "Is that a death threat ?" gray said. "Take it as you want but what once was mine will always be mine " jellal said and he crushed the flowers in his hands and let them fall out and onto the ground he looked at erza one more time sending her this chill down her spine and with that he tuned and left. Erza turned to gray and held his face. "are you okay" erza said. "I'm fine" gray said. "why didn't you let me finish him of I've been wanting to kick his ass! " gray said. "gray you really think I would let you fight ?" Erza said. "Come on erza he deserves it !" Gray said. "Gray, when someone does something bad leave it because one day all the bad stuff they have done will return to them" erza said. Gray stopped he though about all the bad stuff he dont it never has return to him maybe sooner or later he'll get his punishment but he hopes it's not that soon. "I don't know what I do without you" gray said he grabbed erza and pulled her to him kissing her.

Gray and erza were walking to the elevator. "okay so after I'm done with my meeting meet me at the office an then well head somewhere" erza said. "Alright but first I have to run a few errands " gray said. "Okay just don't be late " erza said . "Got it !" gray said . "Bye I love you " erza said and kissed him on the check and got in the car. "Love you to "gray said he smile and saw her drive away and as soon as she left out step jellal. Gray felt a presence behind him and turned. He was faced with jellal once more . "What do you want " gray said . "There something familiar about you I know I seen you before somewhere in New York but where .. and who exactly are you ?" jellal said . Gray started worrying he knew jellal wasnt fund and since he did live back in New York were he was awfully famous jellal was bound to find out sooner or later. "I never seen you in my life and I don't know what your talking about I am me an that all there is to it " gray said . "Do you really except me to believe that? ha your a fool " jellal said. "There is something about you something I know your hiding but I just can't get my hands on it. Gray Fullbuster .. your name I heard it before I don't know where but I have heard it an more than a couple of times and your voice if only I couldn't remember but I know it's in the too of my mind " jellal said. "I know you are not who you say you are your something big" jellal said. "Your insane " gray said walking away. "Insane I might be but I assure you Fullbuster when I find out the truth about you I promise ill bring you don't and ill exposé all your lies to erza and she'll never forgive you and she'll come running back to me, just you wait Fullbuster I'm not gonna let you taking my girl slide ill bring you down even if it takes the last bits of me ill assure you you'll be ruined so beware " jellal said and with that he walked off.
Gray was now fully alert. He knew knowing the guy jellal is he was sure to find out and he's in deep trouble now he doesn't have that much time to tell erza but whatever he does he had to act fast. He went to the riverbank . "What am I going to do ?" gray said. "I can't lose her she's everything I ever wanted and everything I looked for, how can I lose her when I barely got her .." Gray said . "How will I be able to tell erza that all along I've been lying to her from the start ?" Gray said. "You what ?" gray eyes widen and he turned and he saw Lucy.
