Chapter 42

It been a month since gray been gone erza been in her room all this time just missing him and crying. after all they been after all they did what else was left. She has cut her wrist and took pills to calm her anxiety and depression down but none of that was working it was so hard for her. All her friends had visit her and everything tried to cheer her up but nothing possibly could cheer her up everything went down the drain her emotions piled up one by one attacking her inside and outside. she cried so many times that there was no more tears left to cry. she stared at the moon. the door creaked she turned an meet emerald eyes. "uhh hey can I come in?" Jellal said erza nodded. He came in and shut the door. "I brought a strawberry cheesecake your favorite " jellal said smiling. "I'm not hungry " erza said turning away. Jellal eyes soften and place it down and when on the bed next to her and say down. "you still thinking about him ?" he said. "There's not a day when I don't .." Erza said. "Hey it's okay everything gonna be you'll get over it " jellal said. "Over it ?" erza said and turned. "You think I can just get over it ? he meant the world to me I loved him how can I possible get over it , if it took me 6 years to tried to get over us which I kinda did what makes you think imma get over him .." Erza said. "you're right .. I'm sorry" jellal said he brought his head down erza looked at him and guilt struck. "No I'm sorry .. I should be acting this way towards you not after you saved me life and all you done for me ill never to able to repay you" erza said. Guilt struck jellal he fel horrible for lying to her "no it's okay you don't have to apologize " jellal said. They stood there. "Tell me something jellal .." Erza said . "Mm" jellal said. "How can you possible get over someone " erza said. "I don't know myself ... Maybe by trying to forget them ?" Jellal said. "How can you forget someone who meant south to you .. I grown so attach to him .. That I forgot how to live without him .." Erza said. "After all the pain all the saddness .. He came in to my life and saved me and helped me be happy and smile but he took that all away and now ... I'm left with nothing .." Erza said. "I'm sorry erza" jellal said. "Did he not feel nothing when he was hurting me did he not care what was going to happen did all our love mean nothing to him .." Erza said she looked up at the moon. "And the worst part of it all .... I still love him " erza said and turned to jellal tears began to fall from her cheeks jellal pulled her close "I'm sorry baby girl things happen I wish there was some way I could help you" jellal said. Erza just cried and cried. Remembering all what happen that day he left ..

"I'm sorry I know I should have came ... But I had to see you before I leave now ..." Gray said. "Your leaving .. Already" erza said her voice harsh and rash but deep inside was filled wih concern "yeah for good I won't bother you anymore i just wanted to see you .. " gray said. They walked to the balcony and looked at the night sky. "Why did you come don't you see I don't want you here "erza said . "I know but a part of my heart wanted to come and it had to get what it wanted " gray said. "Well then you can leave"erza said. He looked down "don't worry I will you won't ever see me again" gray said. Erza heart ached and her eyes soften "so you won't ever come back ..." Erza said her voice more softer this time. "Maybe idk maybe when the time is right .. " gray said. "When will the time be right? " erza said "who knows months years decades .. Ill take as much time as you need for you to forgive me and look at me with those eyes again" gray said. "But what if by then those months and years ... My hand is with a ring and my love for you has died?" Erza said. Gray looked at the stars "then I guess ill see you be happy without me .. And ill continue to love you but from afar" gray said and turned to looked at her and gave a sad smile. Erza looked at him then looked away and they watched the stars they stayed there looking at the stars as if they give them some kind of answer to there broken hearts. It was time to leave for gray he slowly removed himself from the balcony. "I guess it's time I leave " he said erza nodded and lead him to the door. He turned to looked at her." i guess this is goodbye then .." Gray said. "I guess so" erza said. "Farewell erza" he said

Erza removed herself from jellal and got up and turned to look away. "Jellal if you don't mind I want to be alone .." Erza said. "I understand just please be careful and eat" jellal said and left out the door. Erza walked to the balcony "why?" She said. "Why am I always getting hurt why do I suffer so much .." Erza said . "When am I gonna get my chance at love .." Erza said . She laid down "but it'll never become because all my life is filled of misery everyone who's with me .. Suffers ill have to remain alone forever .. I just don't want to get hurt anymore .." Erza said more tears fell. She looked at her phone and the pictures they took they traded her heart more and more remembering every single thing they ever done together after all they been through. "even after you hurt me .. Why do I still love you gray ?" she said. She got angry "TELL ME WHY !!!" she said and threw her phone at the mirror which shattered onto the floor next to her she held herself "tell me why ..." She said after a while she finally got up and cleaned the mess and she looked one last time at the moon "I wonder how you're doing Gray .." She said and with one last glance at the moon she turned away and went straight to bed and fell asleep with him on her mind ..
