Chapter 23

"How will I be able to tell erza that all along I've been lying to her from the start ?" Gray said. "You what ?" gray eyes widen and he turned and he saw Lucy. "Lucy ! what are you doing here !" gray said. "What do you mean lies you been hiding from erza ?" Lucy said. "Oh look at the time I have to go " gray said. "what are you hiding !" Lucy said. "Well umm ... I broke .. A vase ! yeah a vase from erza house and I told her it was a cat and she believed it and I was worried she'd find out that's why I said how will I be able to tell erza that I've been lying to her from the start !" gray said he was hoping and praying Lucy Would believe his lie. "Oh I though it was something else just tell her she won't get mad " Lucy said. Gray signed in relieve "yeah I should hehe thanks what are you doing here anyway ?" gray said . "Oh Erza told me to find you because y'all agreed to meet somewhere and you didn't show up and erza freaked out and is worried" Lucy said. "Oh shit I forgot thanks I have to go bye !!!!" gray said and began running on towards erza. that's when he arrived. "Gray ! " Erza said and hugged him gray was surprised he expected her to be mad but she wasnt ? " thank goodness your okay I though something happen to you !" erza said. he felt bad this girl really cared about him and loved him how could he keep lying to her face like that. he felt really bad a guilty feeling in his heart. Erza noticed his expression changed. "What's wrong babe ?" erza said . "Nothing" gray said. Erza placed a hand in his cheek. "Is something bothering you ? you can tell me in alway here to listen to you " erza said. Gray looked up should he tell her? "nothing I'm just really tired " Gray said and gave an assuring smile. "Okay I was thinking we can go eat at a fancy restaurant but to be honest I rather just go home and order some Chinese take out " erza said smiling. "I think thats perfect " gray said smiling and he placed his arm around her waist and they walked home. For them being home watching Netflix and being in each others arm wearing whatever they wanted and being themselves was way better than being at a fancy hotel dressing fancy with stuck up people. They watched bad grandpa laughing their asses off while they ate. Gray was trying so hard to pick up a rice ball with his chop sticks but it was hard for him. Erza laughed as he tempted over and over. Erza grabbed a rice ball with her stick. "Say ahh" erza said. "AAhh gray said and feed him. Then gray got a fork and got a rice ball and feed erza "say ahh!" gray said. Erza leaned in about to eat the rice ball but gray quickly removed the rice ball and lean in and kissed her. "hey ! " Erza said. Gray chuckled and grabbed her and pulled her towards him. "You're so beautiful " gray said . Erza blushed and looked down. He grabbed her chin and made her look at him . "I love you" gray said and kissed her once more. "I love you too" erza said. they laid down together on the couch in each other arms, watching the rest of the movie erza fell asleep in gray arms. Gray turned off the tv and picked her up and carried her to her room and laid her down and placed a blanket on her and he also laid by her side watching her breath in and out and her baby snores she looked so peaceful and beautiful. He held her. "how will I ever be able to tell you the truth knowing I'd Lose you .. But I can't keep hurting you with my lies .." Gray said he Could not sleep with this guilt it was wearing him down he has to tell erza but when ? after a while of thinking gray soon fell asleep holding
Erza.

Gray was walking into the room with a happy smile.He saw erza facing another direction holding some papers in her hands probably reading work papers. Gray wrapped his arms behind her. "Hello there beautiful " he said. Erza pushed him away she was so cold towards him. She looked up at him with an awful stare. "what's wrong ?" he said . "You Lied to me " erza said. "Erza what are you talking about I would never like to you ?" gray said. "on yeah then what is this !" erza said throwing papers in his face they felt to the floor and gray ducked down to get them and when he did his eyes open wide. It was a magazine talking about him and his contract as and artist. "You lied to me ! how could you !" erza said. "Erza I can explain !" gray said. Gray tried explaining but she wouldn't hear it . "How could you ... I don't see you the same anymore you lost all my trust I'm leaving " erza said she went to her room packing her suit case. "Erza please listen to me I'm sorry " gray said chasing after her. erza was done packing and went to the door . "don't follow me just leave me alone I don't want to see you anymore goodbye gray " erza said "Erza please come back " she didnt listen and the door shut and she went out and gray ran after her but it was to late she drove away. "ERRZZAAAAA!!"

"ERZZZZZAAAAAA!!" gray said he woke up screaming her name. He stopped he looked around he was sweating and his face was full of fear he looked by her side and she wasnt there. "She left she really did left!!" gray said he jumped out of bed running out of the room to search for her. Room after room he didnt see her she was no where . "she really is gone" gray said he fell to his knees about to cry just then the door opens and he turns his head and his eyes open wide it was Erza with coffees in her hands she placed then down on the table "ERZA!" gray said and he ran to her lifting her up and hugging her. "Wow good morning to you to sleepy head" erza said giggling . "Thank goodness it was all just a dream " gray said hugging her and not letting go. "What do you mean ?" erza said. Gray finally let go. "I had a dream that you left me and I never saw you again " gray said. "Why Would I ever leave you ?" erza said . Gray looked down he knew the answer but he said nothing . erza placed her hands on his cheeks "I would never leave you" erza said smiling to him. Gray tried to smile back but that dream was so real and scary. She hugged him and he hugged her and kissed her fore head . If she was ever to find out the truth he dares not think about what would happen I she did he would not be able to bare with her leaving him he loves her hair to much, that's why he remains quite but the guilt in his heart is unbearable to. "Now let eat" erza said smiling.
But he felt to guilty to eat but he just have to force himself. They sat their eating erza talking and talking and laughing and all gray could do was watch her be happy even if he wasnt He loved to see her smile and laugh but the pain in his heart is forbidding him to share a smile with her to. After all he had to do to make her his and to finally have her he can't even smile but its because those lies are what keeping him from being happy because he knows the truth will come out and when it does he's gonna hurt the his one and only true love and knowing he will cause her another heart break tears his soul even more. "I'm sorry erza for all the pain I will cause you "
