Chapter 62

After a week Gray had gotten better and was able to now walk. Gray had though at first that Erza would stop talking to him now that he was better but she hadn't she continued to treat him normally and talks to him but now she back at work and is busier that ever and Gray with him having to cancel her show he has a few more months to prepare for the big show and after the big show is done its on to the next country. "What am I going to do? I still haven't seem to charm Erza or even seen her give the slightest strange reaction to see that I'm getting in her" Gray said. "You probably have you probably just don't know, Erza is good at hiding things and emotions" Natsu said sipping his smoothie. "If it is true sooner or later she has to crack I have to win her back I can't stand knowing she might be with someone else in the future" Gray said as he played around with the cherry on his milkshake.

"Should I stop seeing him? Should I avoid him? Is this right?" Erza said. "Calm down I'm not getting anything you're trying to tell me so tell what what's wrong?" Lucy said. "Lucy I'm scared these past weeks I hung out with Gray a lot of stuff happened and I'm not sure about anything anymore I'm not sure about marrying Jellal, I'm not sure about Gray, I don't know what I feel anymore and it scares me I don't want to hurt anyone" Erza said. "Maybe because Gray still has your heart" Lucy said "that's not true! I just been spending time with him that's all maybe if I decrease the time we spend together and Maybe if I were to spend more time with Jellal I'm sure I'd get over it!" Erza said. "But Erza- "No it's the right thing I'm engaged with Jellal I should have never said I would take care of Gray, I should have stayed away from him in the first place I have to stop doing this Jellal doesn't deserve this" Erza said "Erza please think about this okay maybe there is a reason all this has happen maybe a sign" Lucy said grabbing her hand "a sign, Lucy I think you're right" Erza said "see so maybe just take things slow and process thing and- "a sign that maybe I should try harder to fall in love with Jellal" Erza said "wait no Lucy that's not what I meant by - "I have to go okay my lunch break is over but we'll talk about this later" Erza said walking off "what have I've done" Lucy said.

"So when are you and Lucy gonna finally have kids? Y'all been married for almost 2 years now?" Gray said "kids! Man the least on my plate is kids my company is on stakes right now higher then it's ever been having kids will only slow me down and less green" Natsu said "Natsu sometimes green doesn't matter, sometimes it's okay to not be at the top, you have to enjoy your life and to be honest I've always though you would be a great dad having kids might just be something you seeps actually a beautiful thing" Gray said "woah you actually have changed a lot and man I don't know.. I'm not sure me and Lucy are ready to be parents it kinda hard you know I've seen some of my former friends and it's been hard on them" Natus said "but you've also seen how happy they have been right?" Gray said "that's one thing for sure I've always seen them happy.." Natsu said "you see I- "hold that though Lucy calling" Natsu said "hello?" Natsu said "Natsu I think I made the situation even worse" Lucy said "what are you talking about?" Natsu said "if Gray wants to win Erza he's going to have to give it all he gots and really step up because my words got to Erza but in a different way and not she's determine to try to fall in love with Jellal" Lucy said "crap this is bad.. I'll call you later okay" Natsu said and hung up "what's up?" Gray said "if you want to win Erza you're going to have to try a lot harder now cause she's determined to fall in love with Jellal" Natus said "great! That's all I needed what am I suppose to do now?" Gray said sulking. "Plan a date" Natsu said "a date? The last date I took her in she ended up hating me even more no way am I gonna risk that again!" Gray said "kinda your fault for taking her to a snobby restaurant" Natsu said "I was trying to give her the best!" Gray said.
"Sometimes what you think might be best, might not always be best, she wouldn't mind simple little dates" Natsu said "maybe you're right I could give it a shot.." Gray said "well then my friend you better start planning how you're going to make this work cause competing for Erza isn't going to be easy, anyway I have to go company calls" Natsu said " see you later then" gray said. Natsu got up and left "Now what am I suppose to do!" Gray said as he sulked in his chair.

Erza was working on recreating the images and theme layouts. When she receive a called from Gray. She looked at her phone. She debated on whether or not to pick it up. "No you have to stop this Erza" Erza said to herself as she pressed the red button and continued on with her work. After work she went straight home she was already exhausted. When the elevator opened she saw him standing right at her door "Gray what are you doing here?" Erza said. "I came to see you since you didn't answer my calls I though something happened to you but since you're okay I guess that means you were avoiding my calls" Gray said. Erza looked down "I stand corrected huh.." Gray said "Yes look Gray it's not that I dont want to hang out its just its not right I'm with Jellal and it's not fair to him" Erza said. "I understand that but do you think it's fair to me too that you act as if it's all okay basically leading me on you were the one that offered to take care of me I never said anything" Gray said "I know but I didn't think it was going to lead you on" Erza said "Erza two Exes one taking care of another you knew exactly what was going to happen if you didn't want to lead me on then why agree to it?" Gray said. "I don't know okay.. I'm sorry for that" Erza said. Gray signed "no no it's not your fault I'm getting upset over a stupid thing and I'm sorry.. Look I'm tired of all this I really want you and I don't want to lose you but I think this has gone far enough.." Gray said "I think so too.." Erza said "this is what I purpose, today I'm leaving home because I have to know what my mom is hiding it's driving me insane.. But I'll be back and when I get back I would like for us to go on a date" Gray said "a date but it didn't work so well last time" Erza said "I know but I promise no more snobby restaurants it'll be simple" Gray said. "What does this date have anything to do with what we were saying?" Erza said "If I can trigger something in you by then I'll keep fighting if not.. He wins.. Gray said. "I - Alright" Erza said. "Then it's settled well I have to catch my plane see you then" Gray said. "See you" Erza said as they bid there goodbyes.

The next chapter things will be revealed and things will come out and with what Gray said to Erza man it's going to be a big roller coaster ride so stay tune sorry it was short next chapter won't me so short till next update :)
