Erza sat in the chair waiting to see how Gray was. She was shaking none stop Her heart had stopped when she saw Gray flipped by that car it was horrible right after he had landed Erza had ran to him calling his name but he wouldn't get up and the ambulance came and took him and performed test and made sure he was okay now she was waiting on her turn to see him. Liz walked out of the room. "Is he okay?" Erza said as she stood up and walked towards her . "So you're the famous Erza? Wow I can see why Gray was all talk about you what model agency do you work for?" Liz asked. "All talk? And I'm not a model I work as a manager at love image but how is Gray?" Erza said. "Ahh don't mind me you heard nothing and he's doing okay now but he won't be able to do anything for 2 weeks or so since he was really injury from his waist to his feet but you can go see him if you want but before you do can you tell me how did this happen?" Liz said. Erza looked down she felt so guilty "we um had a little argument and he walked off and I guess he didn't see that car and it struck him all at once" Erza said. "I see well you can go in there" Liz said. Erza looked at the door knob she was scared she didn't really like being in hospitals after all that happened. She took a deep breath and went in there she meet his eyes he had a few patches on his head and his head was wrapped with bandages and a few bruises on his arms. "Erza?" Gray said he was a little surprise to see her but happy. "Hi" Erza said closing the door behind them and walking towards his bed she sat next to him. "I though you wouldn't come.. Since you said to stay away" Gray said. "I- I'm sorry.. " Erza said. "This is all my fault you're in here" Erza said. "No it's mine I didn't see where I was going" Gray said. "But if we hadn't argued you wouldn't be here" Erza said she looked down. Gray noticed "hey, hey look at me" Gray said lifting her chin. "It's no ones fault.. You had all right to argue with me I deserved that for the jerk I have been " Gray said. They stayed quiet "I remembered something.." Gray said "what is that?" Erza said. "When I got struck I saw me as a kid.. In a elevator .. Screaming in fear" Gray said. "Do you remember anything else" Erza said. "Maybe I did remember everything but I forgot now.." Gray said. "I'm sorry to hear that" Erza said. "I don't know but I feel like that memory has something to do with why I'm scared of elevators" Gray said. "But you're never scared when you're with me?" Erza said. "Exactly when I'm with you.. You calm my anxiety of elevators and I'm at ease" gray said. "All I know is there is something that happened and I have to find out I have to talk to my mother" Gray said. "Is she coming?" Erza asked. "Yeah Shes suppose to arrive later this day" Gray said. "I see Gray.. I feel guilty of what happen to you.. I'm sorry Since I caused this I'm going to take care of you until you get better" Erza said "you don't have to.. I know you don't even want to see me" Gray said. "It's not that I dont want to see you it's just.. You wouldn't understand what I feel" Erza said. "Yes I will, I always have, Haven't I? I know how you feel and I know how you are.. You always order a strawberry cheesecake and a frappe mocha, I see the way your eyes light up when you see stars because you love the stars if it were for you, you live out in the country to see them everyday and how you get so emotional when you see cute little puppies and how you wrinkle the space between your eyebrows when you're thinking hard or trying to concentrate or how you just stand in the mirror and point out all your flaws when all I see is your beauty, how everyone who doesn't know you thinks you're the cold hearted person in the world but in reality you have the biggest heart and the warmest smile" Gray said Erza stood shocked. "You think I don't know anything about you but I do I know more than you'll ever know about yourself so don't tell me I won't understand how you feel because I know and that's why when I did the things I did I messed myself up knowing how I fucked up your life once more" Gray said. Tears began to fall from Erza she never noticed how much he knew about her or how close he had paid attention to every little thing she did or habit she had. Gray tried to hug her but she raised her hand "don't" Erza said. Gray understood he knew that wouldn't win her heart so easily he knew it was going to have to take a lot of him to repair the damage he had caused her. After Erza wiped her eyes clean she looked away. "I'm going to take care of you.. But as a friend" Erza said. "Friend? You think of me.. As a friend now?" Gray said with light in his eyes "Yes" Erza said Gray smiled "I'm glad" gray said when he had came Erza had gave him the cold shoulder had pushed him off but now he had climb up. Just like in the beginning when he had first meet her. baby steps he was going to keep climbing until he reached Erza heart. "I won't lose even if someone else is in your heart right now.. I'll fight my way back in" Gray said. Erza looked at him "Ill go bring you some clothes from your apartment your mom will be coming any minute to see you Liz said" Erza said walking out.
