Chapter One Hundred & Four

We had an absolute blast at Chloe and Scotty's engagement party after that, it was a beautiful time celebrating friends. I woke the next morning hanging ridiculously. It then didn't help that Scott, Daniel, Michael and Blake had all planned to do a massive bike ride this morning. Pulling me and Chloe with them.

"I'm certain I'm going to throw up" Chloe moaned leaning against Scotty at the bottom of the road we were about to start riding up. I was sat down against the wall with my sunglasses on and groaned.
"If this is the party, what the hell is the wedding going to be like" I groaned
"Come on, you need to ride off the hangover and all your issues" Michael pulled me up
"My only issue right now, is you"
"See that would hurt, if I knew you weren't all in your head" Michael chuckled
"Can't we just stay here?" Chloe asked
"You two are a nightmare" Daniel rolled his eyes
"Right look, we drank about twenty times more than you" Chloe said
"And we're not stupid athletes" I added
"Jesus you two are the worst when you're hanging" Scott laughed
"Maybe you should of left us behind then" I laughed, then clutched my head at the pain
"Come on" Michael ordered. The guys all got on their bikes and Daniel basically put me on my mine. Chloe and I rode together behind them, I was sweating not long after. We both pulled off our tops and just had our shorts and sports bras on.
"The only good thing about this?" Chloe said
"What?"
"Tans" she said, I nodded and laughed as the road levelled out and we caught up to the guys.
"Sorry I didn't realise this was a half naked ride" Blake laughed
"Shut up" I moaned at him. I sat back and just pedalled the bike, leaving my hands on my hips. I had decent balance, not worrying about holding on.
"Show off" Chloe laughed, I winked. Suddenly feeling a lot better sweating out all the alcohol.
"See, you are good at being active" Michael laughed
"I might be good but I don't want to do it" I laughed at hun
"So how did you stay with a body looking like that?" Chloe asked, she sounded better herself at this point
"Lots of Danny Ric time" Daniel shouted out from beside me, I shot him a glare as everyone roared with laughter
"You wish sweet cheeks" I shot back, making him laugh. I could feel Daniels eyes on me a lot and I knew it was because of my attire and it amused me. All four boys took snippets of footage and messed about like they normally did, so Chloe and I were probably present in a lot of it but I didn't mind too much.

We all finished off the ride and headed home to get changed before heading out for lunch together. I laid on mine and Daniels bed as he walked around the room half naked.
"I want a new tattoo" I sighed as I scrolled through my fine
"Don't say that, because I'll want one" Daniel chuckled
"Come with me then, is there a good place here do you know?"
"Round the corner there is, we can go after lunch?" He bounced onto the bed laying with me
"Yessss" I smiled as he laid his head on my chest "you're not going to be ready to go anywhere if you stay like that" I said
"I know but I'm comfy" he mumbled "did you call Lando?" He asked
"I text him, he's coming to France a couple of days early so we can go for lunch"
"That's good"
"I feel like crap about it" I moaned
"Then it's a good job you're going to sort it out. Did Zak say anymore?"
"No, he knows I'm already having to deal with the repercussions in the media so that's punishment enough" I sighed, there was a lengthy meeting with Zak who was not his normal cheery self with me because of everything
"Can't imagine that's fun"
"Not really, but it's done now" I said. Daniel rubbed my leg in comfort "what are you doing tomorrow?" I asked
"Think we're just hanging out for the day, I'm going to Scott's" Daniel said, I nodded. I had work to do tomorrow, and the day after in preparation for the coming race, then had to make sure Sophie and Ben were prepped as well.
"You can't come with?" He asked
"I've got too much to do, but have fun" I smiled "but for now get dressed, otherwise we'll be late" Daniel saluted me sarcastically and got ready for us to leave.

"Lando" I smiled weakly at Lando as I walked up to the restaurant he was waiting outside
"Alex, thank you for coming" he smiled. I nodded once and he pulled me in for a hug immediately, I was stunned with my arms pinned to my sides. "I'm sorry, im so sorry, I wish I never said those things. I was so annoyed and it wasn't your fault and I should never have spoken to you that way" he said
"Lando I can't move" I chuckled to him, he laughed and readjusted his arms, and I hugged him back.
"Im just so sorry Alex" he said. I rubbed his back and we eventually made it inside the restaurant to eat. Lando had come to France early and called for us to meet up and chat, which I had agreed to. I missed him, and I wasn't going to let it hang over us any longer. I appreciated his apology and I apologised for my side and we sorted things out together. It was a whole bizarre situation which I wasn't even sure why it happened, it didn't need to happen, but not that it was an excuse, but these people did the most amazing job and had to back themselves, and the day they didn't get annoyed with things not going their way, was the day they no longer loved what they did and weren't good for it.
