Chapter One Hundred & Eight

I stood in the kitchen of Carlos' house making drinks for everyone, from the kitchen window I could see them all outside laughing as the bbq was in full swing, the smell of Spanish food in the air.
"I miss hanging out with you" Carlos said
"Me to! We used to have so much fun, then you moved on" I laughed
"Never moved on from you, I promise Amiga" Carlos said. I smiled and grabbed some glasses from his cupboard to take outside, I followed Carlos out and took my seat next to Daniel. Charles and his girlfriend had also come over so there was a nice little group going.
"Alex!" Max smiled
"Yes?" I asked
"I was just saying you should come to Redbull" he said. I laughed at him at his silliness
"No no, I think I would rather quit altogether" I said, everyone laughed
"Why?" He asked dramatically
"You're too much of a handful" I laughed, a top team would also be insane, like Mclaren was hard enough with its history.
"She got that right" Kelly agreed
"If she went anywhere it would definitely be to Ferrari with me" Carlos said
"That I would do" I smiled
"No no no you can't leave us" Lando said
"I'm not you idiot, I like it where I am" I said tapping Dan's leg. He smiled and kissed my cheek.

The drinks were certainly flowing and Lando had insisted on a game of truth or dare which the boys lapped up, much to the protest of myself, Kelly, Isa, Luisinha and Charlotte.

"Alex, truth or dare?" Max asked
"Truth" I rolled my eyes, there was no way I was doing a dare from him, I was not drunk enough for that
"How long did it take you to sleep with Danny Ric?"
"Max!" Kelly hit his arm
"Approximately one race weekend" I laughed, I then slapped my hand over my mouth and my eyes widened, okay clearly I was drunker than I thought
"Wow!!" Lando howled with laughter with Max
"DR3 charm?" Charles winked over at me
"Oh please, my charm" I chuckled back
"Pleaseee" Daniel chuckled
"Go on your turn Alex" Max said
"Hmmmm, Carlos truth or dare?" I turned to Carlos and he rolled his eyes
"Truth?"
"You always play it safe" I laughed "who do you love more? Me or Landini?"
"Landini" Charles howled
"Stupid nickname" Lando groaned and then he turned to Carlos and eyed him. I leaned into Daniel and he cuddled into me
"Why do you have to ask that?" Carlos chuckled
"Got to answer truthfully" I pointed at him
"I'm sorry Lando, it's Alex" Carlos said and put his head in his hands. Lando gasped and everyone laughed
"Oooooh" Isa chuckled
"YES!" I yelled and gulped my drink
"You're drunk" Daniel whispered to me making me giggle
"Carlos how could you do this?" Lando yelled dramatically making me laugh more.

We all had a good evening playing silly games, continuing to drink and laughing away. Then Kelly, Luisinha and I walked back to the house we were staying in with the guys, we were in a fit of giggles because we had too much to drink but it was hilarious. I held onto Daniel's arm to balance myself but he found it amusing as he walked me into the house and to bed.

"You're the greatest person ever, I love youuuuu" I giggled as Daniel sat me on the bed
"You're so giggly" he laughed
"You're going to win you know" I said, I didn't even really know what I was on about but I was rambling
"What am I going to win?" Daniel asked, clearly playing along with my silliness
"The championship. I know it, you're going to win" I said as I fell back on the bed and started taking off my clothes
"Am I now?" Daniel asked
"Yep. I know it" I said smugly, I was now almost completely undressed and Daniel was just stood watching while I now stood in front of him
"Are you going to keep doing that?" Daniel asked
"What?" I smirked as I dropped my underwear to the floor. Daniel rolled his eyes and launched himself forward
"Stop it, you're far too drunk" Daniel groaned as he kissed my forehead
"I'm far too tired" I laughed. Daniel smirked and got himself undressed before throwing me into bed and pulling me into him. "I love you" I whispered
"I love you bubs"

Lando, Daniel and I left the plane we had flown on, to England. We had a week of work back home at the MTC before heading to Hungary and kicking off the second half of the season, we had spent the rest of the time in Monaco, Daniel and I just spending so much needed quality time together inbetween me working remotely. Michael, Blake and Jon were also with us, the crew back together.

"Let's go and see your mum and dad" Daniel whispered. I looked up at him and smiled, I was already thinking about going as soon as I could, and the fact he thought about it brought so much joy to me. One day I was going to certainly marry this man. I nodded and he smiled at me and kissed the top of my head before grabbing my bags and putting them in the car. We said goodbye to everyone else, with Michael and Blake promising to come round for an early wake up call, in translation working out.

"You are perfect you know" I said to Daniel as we started driving
"You don't need to tell me, I know" Daniel laughed before glancing my way "joking, why?"
"Because you just are, never met a more perfect person" I smiled, he took one hand off the steering wheel and took my hand and brought it up to his lips and kissed the back of it.
"I love you" he whispered, I put my hand on the back of his head once he let go and stroked through his hair.
"I'm going to see Hannah for lunch in a couple of days" I said to him. He nodded
"We're back to being busy" Daniel sighed
"It'll be all so worth it when you win. And it's because you're doing what you're doing that we are this busy" I laughed and he smiled
"I'm going to win" he nodded
"Yes you are!" I chuckled.
