Chapter 21

Rosalina's Point Of View):

We were officially inside the belly of a fish!

"Really?!!" I said. "Eww!!!! This is disgusting!!!!"

"Yeah!" Peach said. "Not a big fan of this either!"

"Look out!" Link said as he pulled his shield in front of us. There were once again two Octoroks in front of us. Both gold rocks were backlashed at them and destroyed them.

"A bubble?" Peach said. We looked awkwardly at it until it popped. It completely hurt!

 "Those are shaboms! Those hurt pretty bad." Navi said.

"You could've said that sooner!" Rosalina said. We continued through Jabu Jabu's belly and ran into jellyfish that literally tried to attack us! We ran past them as fast as possible until we got to none other than Princess Ruto! We ran to her as fast as possible.

"You! Who are you?!"

"Hi!" Link said. "I'm Link. This is Navi, Peach, and Rosalina. We met with your father. He's so worried."

"What?!" She replied. "Are you saying my father asked you all to come here to save me? I'd never ask anyone to do such a thing!"

"We are connected to the Royal family. We received your letter in a bottle." Link showed her.

"Letter in a bottle? I have no idea what you're talking about!" We were confused. "My father is worried about me?" She looked down with gentle eyes but her rage appeared again. "I don't care! Anyway I can't go home right now and you... get out of here! Understand?!" She ran off.

"Wait...a...minute!" I said. "I did not get into a fish's mouth and get disgusting slime on me to be talked to that way or to just forget about this!!!" I was furious until she fell through the floor. We quickly looked down and jumped through it as well and hit the floor. She looked at us.

"What are you still hanging around here for? I told you to go away!"

"I don't think so!" I said back.

"Just go away." Peach was holding me back.

"Please!" Link said. "Let us help. "Your father's really worried about you."

"I'm ok! I've been going inside Lord Jabu Jabu's belly since I was little! But..." She paused for a moment. "Lord Jabu Jabu is very strange today. There are electrified jellyfish and strange holes around... On top of that, my precious stone was... but..." She was frustrated again. "That's none of your business! Anyway! You go home now! Understand?!"

"No...we won't! Not until we fix this!!!" I said. "Besides! We need that stone!"

"Excuse me! But even if I had the stone, you wouldn't be getting it from me! It's my stone!!!" She fought back. Peach was once again holding me back. This princess was completely getting on my nerves!

"I'm not leaving!!!!"

"You're really that worried about me huh?" She said. "Fine. Then I will give you the honor of carrying me!" She pointed at Link. Peach giggled as I gave him a wink. Link blushed. "However... I won't leave until I find the thing I'm looking for. You'd better believe me!" She put her hands out as Link carried her on his back. We couldn't resist but laugh. Even Navi was getting a kick out of it!

"Good. Now let's go!" I said. "As long as we find that stone." I whispered to myself. Peach gave me a smile.

We continued our path deeper and deeper into Jabu Jabu's belly and encountered new enemies. From stingers to talipasarans, we battled them and found a chest that contained a boomerang in it.

"Take it Rosalina! Link can't grab it." Navi said. I looked over at Link and a Princess Ruto on his back.

I grabbed it and gave it to Link. We went into the next room.

"Watch out!" Navi said. "Parasitic tentacle? It seems that the narrow part is its weak point. You need a particular item to destroy it."

"Rose! Give me the boomerang!" Link said. I quickly threw it to him. He gave the boomerang a few good swings and destroyed the creature. We went into yet another opening into the next room ahead of us. The next room had another chest in it that contained a compass. We continued on until we ended up in a room with a platform in the middle.

"That's it! That's it!" Princess Ruto said with excitement. "That's what I've been looking for!" We looked over to where she was pointing and saw the stone! Our eyes widened as we realized our journey was almost over. "Set me down! Set me down!" Link set her down and she quickly ran and climbed onto the platform. She grabbed the stone of water and had the biggest smile on her face. I found myself smiling too. "Oh my goodness! I finally found...my mother's stone!" We looked at eachother filled with disappointment since we figured it was going to be hard for her to give it up. "I got very upset when Lord Jabu Jabu swallowed it. While I was feeding him, he suddenly swallowed me! I was so surprised I dropped it inside. But, now I found it, I don't need to be in here anymore! So take me home right now!"

"Yes!" I said. "Then let's get out of this fish hole!" As Link was about to climb onto the platform, the room had a sudden thump. The platform was raised up until it became the ceiling itself.

"Keeeyaaaah! What is this! An octopus?!" Link said as he looked back to see the opening close completely.

"Look!" Peach said. The platform moved down again to have a giant Octorok appear on it!

"Bigocto! That's what these are called! You have to attack them from behind!" Navi said. We ran as quickly as possible to find it coming after us! The platform had spikes on the side and was spinning around.

"Link!" I said. "Hit it with your boomerang!" He threw it over to find it paralyzed after being hit.

"Good thinking Rose!" Link replied. It was able to move again and moved at us even faster! Once it hit Link, it was running away from us.

"Get him!" Peach said. We ran across the room and Link quickly threw his boomerang a few times until it finally hit the Bigocto. It was once again paralyzed and a green area appeared. Link hit that spot. The Bigocto had been destroyed and disappeared. The openings were open again and we went onto the platform to be taken up to the ceiling. We had no idea where Princess Ruto was or where to look now...
