"Wait! I'm not here to hurt you! I just wanna talk. Look, I've seen your fine work. To get past the guards here, you must have good thieving skills. I used to think that all men, besides the great Ganondorf, were useless. But now that I've see you, I don't think so anymore." I was somewhat uneasy and yet confused on what her point was. "The exalted Nabooru, our leader, put me in charge of this fortress. Nabooru is the second-in-command to the great Ganondorf, king of the Gerudo thieves. Her headquarters are in the Spirit Temple, which is at the end of the desert."
"Why are you telling me all of this? What's your deal?" I said.
"Say, you must want to become one of us, eh? All right then! You're in from now on!"
"What?! But I thought this was a female-only group?!!"
"I guess it's not anymore." She smirked. I was completely confused on what was going on. "Take this. With it, you will have free access to all areas of the fortress." The guard held out a piece of paper. I slowly reached out for it. "What's the matter kid? It's not like it's poison! Go on! Take it!" I took the paper and saw it was an access card.
"Um... thank you. Um... do you know where my friends are?"
"Oh yeah! Of course! I'll take you to them. I apologize for our behavior but we gotta keep our place protected. There's been some weird people that have come in the past."
(Rosalina's Point Of View):
"Rose! Come on! Say something!" Daisy yelled out. I felt a sharp pain on my cheek.
"Ow!!! What the heck was that for?!!" I yelled out.
"Thank goodness you're alright!"
"Of course! That is until you slapped me!!!!"
"I'm sorry. I was just so worried. I'm worried about Peach too! She hasn't woken up yet."
"Ugh..." We looked over to see the sound came from Peach.
"Oh my gosh! You're alright!!!"
"Ack!!!!!" Peach yelled out. Daisy was holding her in a tight squeeze with her arms. "You're...kind of...hurting me...."
"Oh...sorry." Daisy let go and Peach took a deep breath.
"Gosh! Don't kill her!" I said.
"Do you know where we are Daisy?" Samus said.
"Heck if I know! I just woke up a few minutes before they did." Daisy said.
"Hey! You guys!!!"
"That sounds like Link! Over here!!!" Daisy yelled out. Link and Navi ran over with one of the guards behind them. "Oh my gosh! Behind you!!!"
"No no no! It's alright. She's with us." They looked confused. "Hey! How come YOU guys aren't locked up?" We looked around the room.
"Huh... I don't know..." Daisy replied.
"That's weird. Why didn't they lock us up?" Samus said.
"Probably because you're girls." The guard said. "Everyone here is all female, except for Ganondorf that is."
"What?! Do you work for him?!" Daisy yelled out in a rage. Peach grabbed a hold of Daisy's arm.
"Well, since we're all free, think you could take us to the Gerudo desert?"
"Sure! Just follow me!"
We followed the guard over to a gate that led to the desert.
"Just follow the flags and you should be there in no time, but be careful out there. It's dangerous. There's a sandstorm that's coming, so you'd better get to where you're going quick."
"Thank you so much for everything!" Link said. The guard opened the gate and we entered into the desert. "Here! We'll start this way!"
"How do you even know where we're going?!" I said.
"Look in these!" I looked and saw that there was a flag. "How come I can only see the flag through these?"
"Woah! I wanna look!" Daisy yelled out. She was just like a child when looking through the lens. "Woah! So cool!!!!" Peach took a look into them.
"What are these?" Peach said. "They're so fascinating!!"
"There called the Lens of Truth." Link said. "These are gonna help us get to the Spirit Temple!"
(Hour later)
"Gosh! When are we gonna get there?! I'm melting like a popsicle!" I said.
"We're almost there Rose... I'm pretty hot too... If only I had my umbrella..." Peach replied.
"I told you to not call me Rose!"
"I think I got sand in my mouth too..."
"Well, just when you said that, we're here!!!" Link said.
"Yeah!!!" Daisy screamed out. The whole way here, she practically acted like nothing bothered her.
"How can you STAND this??!!" I said. "I can't believe you're not bothered by this heat!!!"
"I'm used to it actually. There are some days during the summer in Sarasaland that it gets really hot out, so this is NOTHING to me!" Daisy said with a bright smile.
We went inside Desert Colossus and saw that there were two snake statues that stood by the stairs to the doorway. Navi went over to one of them.
"There's some writing here. It says, 'If you want to travel to the future, you should return here with the power of silver from the past.'"
"Wait...does that mean we have to go back to being our kid selves again?" Peach said.
"I guess so..." Link said.
"Who's outside? I just heard footsteps." Samus said.
We walked back outside and saw that Sheik had been waiting for us.
"Past, present, future. The Master Sword is a ship with which you can sail upstream and downstream through time's river. The port for that ship is in the Temple of Time. To restore the Desert Colossus and enter the Spirit Temple, you must travel back through time's flow. Listen to this Requiem of Spirit. This melody will lead a child back to the desert." Sheik pulled out her harp and started to play a soft, yet mysterious tune. Link pulled out his ocarina and started to play along with Sheik. I looked up and saw a strange bird, looking down upon us. I realized that it was the owl that watched over us our whole journey. When I listened to this melody, it gave me a sense of hope I had never been able to experience before the owl of guidance flew away. For once, I felt at peace.
