Chapter 24

(Daisy's Point Of View):

Thump!... Thump!... I slowly opened my eyes. I woke up to the sound of screaming... I got up from bed, questioning the sound. I walked slowly down stairs, yawning with still heavy eyes.

"What's going on?" I yawned.

"You!" The Castilian said to me. "Come with me! Now!" I woke up from my drowsy state.

"What do you mean? What's going on?"

"Just hurry! Get there now!" He said. He quickly ran away in a panic. I realized what was going on around me. Some people in the castle were panicking, errand boys were running back and forth, and soldiers running in a few lines heading out. I didn't know what was going on! I just woke up!

"Excuse me?" I said to one of the running errand boys. He didn't hear me. Another one came by. "What's happening?" I asked.

"You don't know?" He said.

"No... I just woke up!"

"They're coming!!!! The monsters are coming as we speak!!!!" He quickly ran away again. I stood there in utter shock!

(Zelda's Point Of View):

I ran down the stairs as quickly as possible, wondering what the sound was and planning to talk to father to see. As soon as I got to the bottom of the stairs, I looked out one of the windows. I couldn't believe my eyes! The monsters were headed toward the castle! Even Stalchildren and ReDead! They weren't even able to walk during the day so how come they were now??!! I came back to reality of what was happening in the castle after hearing screams inside. I continued to run quickly to my father's throne room. I turned hallway to hallway until getting to the door to the throne room and immediately pushing it open.

(Samus' Point Of View):

"Daisy!" I yelled out as I ran over to her. I grabbed her hand. "Let's go! Now!" We started to run.

"Wait! Where are we going?"

"To where the king is making his announcement! The courtyard!" We quickly ran until reaching it.

I started to hear small voices. People young to old crowded the courtyard and panicked with fear.

"Everyone stay calm!" King Daphnes said. "We will handle this! I know you are scared! Everything will be ok! I need the medics and doctors over here and then I need the bakers and cooks on this side of the courtyard! We need all the help we can get!" I looked around and saw the injured over where the medics were. I turned over to Daisy. Her eyes were wide with her hands over her mouth.

"It's ok." I said. "Everything's going to be ok." Daisy looked over at me and even though worried, gave a nod.

(Zelda's Point Of View):

"Father! Father! What's going on?!" I said rushing into the throne room. I realized it wasn't my father sitting there on the throne but Ganondorf himself. He looked over in my direction.

"You!" I said. "What are you doing?"

"Why princess? What seems to be the matter?"

"You don't fool me! I can see right through your tricks! I know what you're planning!"

Ganondorf gave me a grin and stood up from the throne. "You're a clever girl but not clever enough!" He said. "Because I too know you've been plotting against me!"

"You monster! These people don't deserve this! They've done nothing wrong to you!"

"Dear princess, I could care less what happens to them! I'm not interested in them." He slowly walked down the golden stairs surrounding the throne. "All I care about is taking this seat and having it for myself! He put his hand into a fist. "I can just see it now! Hyrule... no... the entire world will be mine! And there's nothing you can do about it!"

"That's not true! You WILL be stopped! Whether it's me or the Hero of Time himself! It's impossible for you to avoid it!"

He looked down in silence and gave another grin. A giggle came from his mouth. Louder and louder it got until it turned into a manic evil laugh. I got my knife from father out and ran towards him with it. He was about to grab my wrists.

"Stop!" A voice said. Impa stood in the doorway.

 

(Impa's Point Of View):

"Ah! Another guest has arrived to my party!" Ganondorf said.

"I won't let you do this! Zelda! Get back!" I said. Zelda ran from Ganondorf's grasp. He started to run after her.

"I don't think so little girl! Once I get you and your father out of the way, the throne is all mine!" I quickly sped over to him. He shielded himself as my spear clashed with the armor on his arm.

"You'll have to get through me first!"

I was pushed back and dodged Ganondorf's punch. His fist hit the floor and crunched it. My feet were dragging on the ground until I stopped myself and ran towards him. He pulled his sword out and broke my wooden spear. I dodged it before it could hit me and sped behind him. I tried to hit his face with my foot but his hand grabbed my ankle before I could and he threw me into the wall. I didn't understand how he had so much strength! I disappeared out of his vision and came up from behind him. As I was about to kick him from behind, he disappeared. I questioned how he could dissapear so fast! I looked around until seeing him appear behind me. He was headed towards me and I jumped into the air to take him out with balls of fire coming from my hands. He jumped up and dodged every one of them until he came up from behind me and pushed his foot against my back. I immediately hit the floor directly head on and tried to get up as fast as possible. For some reason, Ganondorf once again sped right behind me and as I turned my head towards him, he punched me in the face. I slid across the floor until hitting my head on the wall. Princess Zelda immediately came right to my side. As Ganondorf was about to finish his last blow, I used one of my Deku nuts to have Zelda and I dissapear.
