Chapter 34

(Link's Point Of View):

Every move I made, he copied me with, even with my sword.

"What the heck?! I can't get him at all!" I then realized that he didn't have a hammer.

"Daisy! Give me the hammer!" Daisy ran over as quickly as possible and handed me my hammer. "You wanna mess with me? Fine then!" I then slammed my hammer into the water and multiple times, my dark self fell into the water and came back up again after being hit until he finally fell and didn't come back up. The gate by the door was raised back up and the illusion of the room suddenly went away, looking like any other room you'd enter in. We went into the next room and opened the treasure chest in the center of the room.

"It's the Longshot!" Navi said. "It's an upgraded version of the Hookshot except now you can shoot this one at an even longer distance!"

"Sweet!" Link said. "This will be very useful!" Then we saw a block and I thought of playing the Song of Time. The block disappeared and we saw a hole in the floor. We jumped into the hole and found ourselves in a room of currents.

"Be careful everyone! Don't get swallowed by the vortexes!" Navi said. We swam through the currents and went onto a platform. I hit the bull's eye with my arrow and the gates lifted up. We entered into the next room.

"We need to reach that switch so that the door to the next room opens." Navi said. I immediately dove into the water.

"Stingers! Look out Link!" I tried to swim down as fast as possible before the Stingers got me. "I'm coming Link!" Navi flew into the water and tried to distract the Stingers. They then started to chase after her while I hit the switch. I then swam over to Navi and fought the Stingers underwater while grabbing a hold of Navi.

"I got you! Hang tight!" I said. I swam back up with Navi in my hand. "You ok?" Navi shook the water off of her wings.

"Yeah, I'm ok." She said. We walked into a few more rooms until entering into one that had very unusual water.

(Navi's Point Of View):

"Link, look out! That isn't normal water over there!" We heard a strange noise coming from under us.

"Link?!!!!" Peach said.

"What is that?!!!" Rosalina said. Link looked behind himself.

"That is the Giant Aquatic Amoeba, Morpha!" I said. Morpha was a creature made of water that had a nucleus inside of the gooey like water. "Aim for its nucleus with your Longshot!" Link did just as I said and the nucleus came towards him. He hit it a few times with his sword and the nucleus jumped back into the water. It then started to go in a circle and created water arms or tentacles to reach us.

"Look out! Don't let it touch you!" They dodged it's attacks but Morpha grabbed Link and shook him around with its hand.

"No!" I said. "Stop!!!" I flew as fast as I could over to Link when it's other hand knocked me out.

(Link's Point Of View):

I was knocked onto the floor.

"Navi!!!" I shouted. I hit the nucleus with his Longshot again and it went towards me. I hit it a few more times with his sword and it entered into the water again. I then saw the hands coming over.

"No one hurts my friends like that!!!" I said. I slashed its hand with my sword and hit the nucleus with my Longshot again. I was furious! Morpha after a few more minutes was destroyed. I then took a few breaths and ran over to Navi. "Navi!!!! Navi!!!!" I picked up Navi with my hands. "Navi please! Wake up!!! Wake up!!!! Please!!!! Don't do this to us now!!!"

"Navi!!" Peach said. "Don't die!!!"

"What... happened..." Navi said softly.

"Thank goodness you're ok!!!" I said. "Oh thank goodness!"

"Of course I'm fine! I'm not gonna let something small like that get to me!" Navi said with determination. Where is it? Is it dead?"

"Yes." I said with a smile.

"Good." Navi flew out of my hands. We were all so relieved to see she was ok. We then went over to the blue light in the center. We were back in the Chamber of Sages. On the Water emblem, Princess Ruto appeared.

"I would have expected no less from the man I chose to be my husband. Zora's Domain and its people will eventually return to their original state. As a reward, I grant my eternal love for you. Well, that's what I want to say, but I don't think I can offer that now. I have to guard the Water Temple as the Sage of Water. And you, you're searching for the princess, Zelda?" I started to blush. "Ha! You can't hide anything from me! Princess Zelda...she's alive. I can sense it, so don't be discouraged. I can tell that nothing will stop you in your quest for justice and peace. You must take this medallion. Take it respectfully!" Princess Ruto pulled out the Water Medallion and handed it to Link. "By the way, if you see Sheik, give her my thanks, ok?" I nodded my head and we landed back on one of the platforms at Lake Hylia. We came back and saw that Sheik had been waiting for us.

"Did Ruto want to thank me?" I nodded. "I see. We have to return peace to Hyrule for her sake too, don't we? Look at that. Together, you and Princess Ruto destroyed the evil monster. Once again, the lake is filled with pure water. All is as it was here." We looked over at the water and once we turned around, Sheik had disappeared again, as always. I wondered throughout our journey why Sheik was helping us the way she did...
