Chapter 43

As soon as walked to the center of the room, the floor above us lifted up as a platform. We looked around to see what was going on.

"Look at those stupid kids! They came on their own to offer themselves as sacrifices to the great Ganondorf!"

"Ganondorf is not great! He's a monster!" Daisy said.

"Hee hee hee! So ungrateful! He's given us so many things! You should be more grateful! Hee hee hee hee! Let's teach them a lesson, shall we?!"

Both of the witches appeared from the ground.

"With my flame, I will burn them to the bone!" The one said, as she came out of what seemed like lava.

"With my frost, I will freeze them to their souls!" The other said. She looked like she came out of what seemed like ice.

They circled around us with their brooms and flew over to opposite sides of the platform. One of them attacked with their ice powers and we had to run from it. The other used their fire powers to block us from running.

"Hee hee hee!" Isn't this fun!"

"Yes! It is quite fun!! Ho ho ho!!!"

The both of them laughed at us squirming to find a way to escape their attacks.

"Wait! I've got it!" I said. As soon as fire came over to me, I pulled out the shield and used it against the other witch.

"You deflected it onto the other one! Nice job, Rose!" Link said. I did this a few more times.

"Ok, let's get serious now, Kotake!"

"Oh, ok Koume!"

Then they both yelled out, "Kotake and Koume's Double Dynamite Attack!" A light burst where they flew and when the light disappeared, there stood a very tall lady that had both fire and ice powers.

"They must've combined their powers together as one!" Navi said.

"We can take 'em!" Daisy yelled.

Ice flew towards us. I deflected it with my shield and it hit it back at them.

"They're down, Link! Take 'em out!" Navi yelled. Link shot some of his arrows at them.

Fire came towards us and I deflected their powers back at them again. Link shot more arrows at them. One of the arrows hit the lady's chest.

They turned back to their original form as the twin sisters.

"Shoot! What fresh kids!!! This time, we'll get serious, right Kotake?"

"What?" The other said. "Hey, Koume, what is that above your head?"

"I don't know, but you have one over your head too, Kotake!"

They realized what was above their heads were halos. They were dead...

"But... I'M ONLY 400 YEARS OLD!!!"

"AND I'M JUST 380 YEARS OLD!!!!"

"WE'RE TWINS! DON'T TRY TO LIE ABOUT YOUR AGE!!! YOU MUST HAVE GONE SENILE!!!"

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING SENILE?! IS THAT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR OLDER SISTER?"

"WE ARE TWINS! HOW CAN YOU BE OLDER?"

We looked back and forth as they fought.

"KEEEYAAAH!! HOW HEARTLESS YOU ARE!!"

"HOW CAN YOU BE SO UNGRATEFUL?!!!"

"YOU'RE HEARTLESS!"

"YOU UNGRATEFUL!!"

"HEARTLESS!"

"UNGRATEFUL!"

"HEARTLESS!"

"UNGRATEFUL!"

"HEARTLESS!"

"UNGRATEFUL!"

"HEARTLESS!"

"UNGRATEFUL!"

Then a light came and shown on them. They stopped. They started to be lifted up.

"We'll come back to haunt you!!!!!!" They both screamed out with anger as they were lifted up into the sky to never be seen again.

"Well.... That was... interesting..." Peach said.

"Yeah... that was..." I replied. We all stood in silence, only to laugh hysterically a few seconds later. "Actually, I'd rather have you as a sister than either one of them!" I patted Peach on the back.

"Hey!" She said.

"It's true!"

"Wait! Where's Nabooru?!" Samus said. We looked around and saw the blue light.

"She must be the last Sage!" Link said. "Let's go see!!" We ran over into the blue light.

We were back in the the Chamber of Sages when we were once again face to face with Nabooru.

"Kid, let me thank you. Heheheh, look what the little kid has become in the past seven years. A complete swordsman! By the way, I really messed up. I was brainwashed by those old witches and used by Ganondorf to do his evil will. But isn't it funny? That a person like me could turn out to be the Sage of Sprit?! And now, I'm going to fight them as one of the six Sages! Heh heh! I'm going to pay them back for what they did to me! Kid...no...Link, the Hero of Time! Instead of keeping the promise I made back then, I give you this Medallion. Take it." Nabooru pulled out the Spirit Medallion and handed it over to Link. "And thank you all, for helping me. Gosh...if only I knew you would become such a handsome man. I should have kept the promise I made back then."

"Wha!!!!" Link yelled as we were leaving the Chamber of Sages. "Wait!!! What did you mean by that??!!" Link blushed.
