(Samus' Point Of View):
We had traveled back over to Kakariko village to find something very unexpected... Smoke covered the village. Houses were on fire! In front of us by the well, we saw Sheik. We ran over to her. Sheik was focused on the well.
"Get back." She said. The wood from the top of the well broke off. Rain started to pour. Sheik was all of a sudden lifted up. An invisible creature started to swing her around and threw her at the bottom of the stairs. Link and I ran over to Sheik and knelt down to her level.
"I'm ok." She said. A dark shadow crept out of the well, over the houses, and stopped at the entrance to the village. It started to head towards us and we all pulled out our weapons. We stood in front of Sheik as she lifted her arm up from the ground. "No...stop..." Sheik said. Link ran towards the dark shadow. It immediately dodged his attack, grabbed a hold of him, and threw him into one of the houses. Link had been knocked out unconscious. Daisy, Rosalina, and Peach ran over to Link. The dark shadow swung the three of them away from Link, hitting them enough to make them unconscious as well. I looked above as the dark shadow was hovering over me. I pointed my laser gun at it.
"Samus! Get out of there!" Navi said.
It was about to strike when Sheik played the Prelude of Light with her harp. A light came from her harp and the evil shadow scurried off.
"You ok?"
"Yeah." I replied.
About ten minutes later, everyone else was awake except for Link. Two minutes more, he opened his eyes.
"Looks like you're coming around." Sheik said. "Listen. A terrible thing has happened. The evil shadow spirit has been released. Impa, the leader of Kakariko village, had sealed the evil shadow spirit in the bottom of the well, but the force of the evil spirit got so strong, the seal of the well broke, and it escaped into the world. I believe Impa has gone to the Shadow Temple to seal it again, but she will be in danger without any help! She is one of the Six Sages. Destroy the evil shadow spirit and save Impa. There is an entrance to the Shadow Temple beneath the graveyard behind this village. The only thing I can do for you is teach you the melody that will lead you to the Shadow Temple. This is the melody that will draw you into the infinite darkness that absorbs even time. Listen to this, the Nocturne of Shadow." Sheik pulled out her harp again while Link pulled out his ocarina. Link and her played the tune that sounded mysterious and eerie. "Let me take care of the village. I'm counting on you." Sheik pulled out a Deku nut and hit it on the ground to disappear.
"Hey! Let's go check out the well!" Navi said. "The evil spirit came from in there!"
So Link and Navi went down the well to check it out, however, the well was sealed off.
"How are we gonna check it out now?" Link said.
"Wait a sec!" Peach said. "Sheik said that we could go back and forth through time! We could go to the Temple of Time and become kids again! When the well wasn't blocked off!"
"Great idea! Link, the tune." Navi said.
"Navi and I can handle this one." Link said.
"But what about us?" Daisy replied.
"Just wait here. We'll be right back." He gave a smile. Link pulled out his ocarina and played the Prelude of Light.
(Link's Point Of View):
We entered into the Temple of Time and returned the Master Sword to its place. After light stroke the room, I looked down at myself. I was a child again!"
"How does it feel Link?" Navi said.
"Weird. It feels... really weird to not be as tall as I was." We giggled. We traveled back to Kakariko village. "The well's full." I said.
"Let's go check out the windmill." We went in. "Now Link. Play the Song of Storms!"
"Ok." I pulled out my ocarina and played it. The windmill started to spin even faster! Navi and I left the windmill back to the well.
We went inside and crawled in the little hole to the other side of the wall.
"Link. I can hear the spirits whispering in this room. 'Look for the eye of truth.' That's what they are saying." Navi said.
"It's a dead end. Where are we supposed to look?"
"Go through this wall."
"What?"
"You heard me. Go through this wall." Navi said. I walked over.
"Here it goes." I put my hand through the wall. I paused, then a few moments later put the rest of my body through the wall. I walked the pathway with a small pool of water inside of it. Navi and I walked around three corners and saw a Triforce symbol on the floor.
"The water flowing out of this statue is flooding the entire floor." Navi said. I walked onto the Triforce symbol and played Zelda's lullaby. The water disappeared from the floor. We walked in a circle until we were back at the entrance. We saw there was a hole where water was before and crawled into it. We crawled up the ladder and went into the next room.
"What are those?" I said.
"Oh no!" Navi said. "Link, run!" Something grabbed onto my head. It looked as if it was a bloody hand with an arm coming from the floor!!! "A Dead Hand! When it's body comes over, attack it when it tries to bite you."
While my head was being held by one of the hands, I looked over and saw a giant monster that had a central body that was flabby and almost a tumorous mass. His body was covered in patches of what looked like blood from its other victims. It slowly wiggled towards me and its giant mouth was about to bite me. I hit the hand so that it would let go and then dodged his bite. I hit his body with a few attacks and I dodged the second bite he threw at me. The Dead Hand slid away from me and huge piles of dirt surrounded him while he disappeared from my site.
"Link! I have an idea! I believe you'll have to do it again! Let one of his hands grab you!" Navi said.
"What?!"
"Trust me! Just do it!"
I walked over to one of the hands as it grabbed me. Piles of dirt suddenly appeared again and the Dead Hand slowly wiggled over to me. His demonic eyes looked towards me and as it was about to bite me, I wiggled my way out of the hand and sliced his neck with my sword. He yelled out a groan as his body fell to the ground. A treasure chest suddenly appeared. I opened the chest and pulled out an item.
"Oh my gosh! I can't believe it. I've heard of this but I never thought I would actually get to see in front of me!" Navi said. "It's the legendary Lens of Truth. It's said that when you look through it, it shows things that are invisible to the human eye."
I gazed at what looked like a magnifying glass.
We found our way out of the well and we made our way to the Temple of Time. I once again pulled out the Master Sword and became a full grown adult. I played the tune Sheik recently taught me and went back to Kakariko village.
