Chapter 2

(Peach's point of view):

"Why hello there!" my mother said. "Welcome to Mushroom Kingdom. I am Queen Galleria and this is my husband, King Elliot." Mother looked very excited for this, but dad seemed a little bit off. Then the other queen spoke.

"Why, it's lovely to meet you your highness. I come from the kingdom of Halley. I am Queen Yella and this is my husband, King Herold."

"Why, it's very nice to meet you Queen Yella. Now for the fun part." My mother and Queen Yella giggled. "This is my daughter, Princess Peach."

Then I thought to myself, "Here we go."

"Is this your only child?"

"Yes. What about you? Do you have an only child?"

"Actually, I have three children. My two sons and a daughter."

"Oh really!? Looks like Peach will have a sister and brother-in-law. How exciting!"

"These are my sons, Prince Robert and Prince Willy, and my daughter, Princess Rosalina."

While my parents and Robert's parents were talking, he looked at me funny. Then he came up to me very slowly like he was up to something. I had a bad feeling about it too.

"I am Prince Robert. It is an honor to meet you." He says as he bows down. I had an annoyed look on my face.

"Now don't be like that sweetheart. If you think it's because of love that I'm marrying you, it's not. My family and I are only here to have two things. Power and money."

"But marriage isn't about power and money! It's about two people being in love with each other and spending the rest of their lives together!"

"Whether you like it or not, we're going to get married! You understand?"

I rolled my eyes and was silent. He had a frown on his face. Then he grabbed me on the shoulder.

"You WILL respect me as your husband."

"You are NOT my husband! I will be lonely and die before I ever marry you!"

"Oh really?"

Robert then called out William, his 5-year-old brother, and threw him into the NON-shallow fountain!

"HELP! HELP! I can't breathe! HELP!"

"What!?" Then I realized what Robert was up to and that the boy couldn't swim and needed help. I tried to observe where the boy was and found him but he didn't look like he was drowning. He looked more like something was pulling him underwater. Then I took my shoes off and just as I was about to jump in to save him, some voices interrupted me.

Yella and my mother came rushing in, with my father and Robert's father, Herold, standing at the door.

"What's going on!?" Queen Yella said.

"Mother! I can't breathe!"

"Oh my darling! Somebody help him!" Yella yelled in terror.

"Out of the way!" Robert pushed me to the ground while running to the fountain." I'll save him!" He jumped in and I could tell he was trying to be a show off. "There you go little brother." I thought that his brother would say something, but he didn't and he looked a little upset when he looked at his brother. I wondered if it was because he was scared of him.

"What happened!? How did he get in the fountain!?"

"Mother! It was Peach! She threw him in there!"

"What? I did not! You...

"I do not lie! Mother, please believe me! I would never hurt my little brother like that!"
