Soon it was time to go back to classes, this time specifically my Alpha classes, which Bryan wouldn't be in so I bid him goodbye, promising to meet back for dinner in the refrec later. Leaving to go back towards the main stairs which would take me to the alpha floor where my classes would be held, I soon found I was walking behind no other than Aiden.

It didn't take me long to realise that he would be in my alpha classes with me, which suddenly made the whole prospect of being here much better. That was until I entered the classroom for pack structures and heard Claire's cackling laughter pouring out from a group of people in the centre of the room. Well, maybe this won't be so fun after all. I wasn't the only one to stop and cringe at Claire's obnoxiously loud laughter, Aiden also did, which surprised me. I assumed that considering how strong and dominant Aiden was he would have automatically been in Claire's posey.

Avoiding Claire and her group as best as I could I attempted to creep around them to go to the back of the room, a similar move to Aiden apparently who was also attempting to creep around them without being noticed. However, that hope was soon crushed when Claire's attention jolted up, her attention keenly focussing on Aiden himself, who lurched back at the sudden screech of "Adrikens!" That came from her mouth.

I would have expected him to ignore Claire and continue on to his chair, since he always seems to be alone, but to my surprise he took the time to snark back "What, What could you possibly want from me Claire you've never paid any attention to me before, I wonder why now?" He said the last part looking back at me accusingly, as if it was my fault Claire had called him out.

Opening my mouth to speak, Claire beat me to it saying, "I don't know what you are talking about Aiden, we've known each other a long time" to which she turned her smug smile to me. I didn't understand what was going on here.

My wolf perked up a little at this too reminding me that I should really go on a run soon to release some of these pent up feelings. Choosing to stay quiet, so I could hear Aiden's response, which was for some reason really important to my wolf and I, I listened in from my position near the group of people that had formed.

Aiden choosing to ignore Claire's comment about them knowing each other, shoved past her "Just leave me alone Claire, you know I'm not and would never be interested in the likes of someone like you!" Leaving Claire stood fuming glaring between Aiden and I, not like I had anything to do with their confrontation but hey ho. As Claire began to advance towards me, probably to make some more nasty remarks, I was saved by the teacher, Mr. Harvey's, entrance to the class.

Quickly finding a seat I realised that the only chair left unoccupied was in front of Aiden, admitting defeat and moving to my seat I tried really hard not to make eye contact with him as I reached my seat, but by the looks of his clenched fists and downturned head I didn't have to worry, he wanted nothing to do with me clearly.

Two hours later and it was 4pm, finally time for the dreaded alpha training. The training fields is one of the few places at the school I hadn't investigated yet. It was located out back of the school behind the dorms. Hidden in the woods was a semi-large clearing in the trees, set up with a track, some obstacles, weapons and other things we would use in our training time at the school.

Having already stopped off at my room to drop off my bag and change, I was out on the field in no time, lined up in front of Mr. Jones. I didn't get much chance to study the group of alphas I would be training with for weaknesses, and just to see who was here, because the next thing I knew Mr. Jones was blowing a rather loud whistle and yelling at us to run 4 laps (1600m) of the track.

Snapping out of my stupor I saw that most of the class had already set off on their run, so I quickly set off to catch up, not being one who likes to loose. As I caught up to the front runners on my second lap I recognised both figures, one belonging to Aiden, who didn't seem to be breaking a sweat yet, and the other Claire, who only on her second lap now was already struggling to maintain her position. As I sped up further I soon passed Claire easily enough, who stumbled a little at realising I was the one to pass her. Claire tried to speed up some more but couldn't seem to get past me. Grinning back at her I sped up some more completely bypassing her. All I could hear was her releasing a little growl at me succeeding over her.
