Waking up to an alarm is one of the few things on this planet that riles me up, here I was happily dreaming about running through the woods in my wolf form, to be woken suddenly to the sound of obnoxious beeping in my ear. Slowly waking from my slumber to turn the alarm off, I thought back to my dream, remembering that it would probably do me good to go for a run and let my wolf adjust to the new surroundings we are in. Maybe it would help dissipate some of this edginess I've been feeling since arriving here. Getting out of bed I realised how sluggish I was feeling, it has been a while since I've had to wake up so early, one of the downsides of having to attend the academy, but even then 6:30am is early for anyone.

Finally dragging myself from the bed I manage to stumble my way into the ensuite bathroom to take a morning shower, the bathroom isn't anything special just a small walk in shower crammed into the corner and a toilet and sink on the opposite side, a wall cabinet and mirror above the sink to store my toiletries in. After showering I find my uniform that was laid out on the bed yesterday scattered on the floor, picking it up and putting it on I look at myself in the mirror. The uniform fits fine and isn't completely hideous I guess, but I'm 21 and back in a school uniform, this is so not what I predicted for life.

Studying my reflection some more I realise my thick brown curly hair finally reaches my waist, I've been growing my hair for some time now, my brown eyes spark slightly in happiness, if you were to look really closely at my eyes you would notice some slightly lighter hazel flecks, this signifies my wolfs strength even in my human form. Most people tend not to notice though, only my family and best friend have ever recognised the lighter flecks, and I plan to keep it that way, I already get enough grief for wanting to be a sigma alpha in a strong pack, I certainly don't need more.

After drying my hair I decided to just leave it down, making sure to put a hair tie on my wrist for training later though. Deciding I was ready for school now, since I don't wear makeup especially when we are only going to get all sweaty and dirty later in training, I made sure my bag was packed for the day ahead of me. Looking at the time it was now 7:15am and classes start at 8 which gave me plenty of time to head to the refrec to get some breakfast, hopefully I see Hannah in there today.

Grabbing my bag and giving my room one last glance over to check I forgot nothing, I made a mental not to dedicate some time to unpacking at some point since my room was currently such a mess. Leaving the dorm rooms I saw the group of boys from yesterday also heading into the refrec for breakfast but chose to take no notice of them, not after how they treated me when it came to Claire, they definitely weren't worth my time. I saw them looking at me but blanked them when one of them tried to wave at me.

I instead headed towards the breakfast counter to get my fill of bacon, eggs, toast and a fruit bowl. I should probably say that werewolves have a hefty appetite. Looking around the room I noticed Hannah sat at the same table as before which was great at least I wouldn't be sat like a loner on my first real day here.

Checking out the other side of the room as I made my way across to Hannah I saw my brother and some of his friends, one being Jake my best-friend Bryan's brother, also my brothers beta to be. Just then Jasper chose to look up and we made eye contact, for a split second his eyes widened and he smiled just a little at me, before someone in his group gained his attention and he went back to the conversation at hand. Behind his head I could see Claire watching our interaction with a smirk on her face, rolling my eyes at her I moved on towards my seat at my table where Claire was now hidden from view.

Sitting down Hannah must have witnessed the interaction between my brother and I because she chose to immediately question me on it "What was that between you and Jasper there? Do you know him?"

Releasing a sigh at the realisation I would probably get this question a lot I stared at Hannah "Er Yeah. I kind of know Jasper really well since he's my brother." Hannahs face changed hearing of the connection between me and Jasper, her head yo-yoing between looking at me and him to find any resemblance.
