Darla was the first to find me in my room today. Apparently it has become our thing to meet in my room for some girl time before meeting the boys at breakfast. She didn't even greet me as she walked in whilst I was finishing my hair, jumping straight into it she asked me "How do you think her date went yesterday then? I'm surprised she's not already here spilling the beans on it."
Feeling sarcastic I replied with "Well hello to you too Darla, I'm good thanks, how're you?" Darla just laughed waving me off as I rolled my eyes, checking my reflection one last time. "I'm not sure where Hannah is she is usually here by now" I thought aloud. Just as I said that the door opened once again, Hannah tumbling in through it. I could already see the light in her eyes and the grin on her face, so her date must have gone well.
As if knowing exactly what we were going to ask she didn't even hesitate to say "I already know what your going to say and yes it was amazing" she sighed as she leant back against my bedroom door, a faraway look on her face. "We went to a little restaurant in the town, it was so cute and we ate Italian food, you know how I love Italian, and he paid for it too like a true gentlemen. Then we went for a walk along the streets which had these cute little lights strung across them, it was honestly so cute you guys. We ended it with a kiss as he dropped me off at the dorms, promising he would see me today" She gushed clearly happy with how it had gone.
"Awww well I'm so happy for you Hannah, what does that mean for you two now" Darla asked.
Hannah frowned then "I'm not too sure to be honest with you girls, but I feel like he's it for me" she smiled to herself then and continued on "I need to introduce him to the group soon, it would be nice to know my friends like him as much as I do before things get too far" we all hummed our agreement to that, I was glad to know she was finally thinking of introducing him to us. I had been dying to meet the guy since she first met him. Few had struggled to gain and keep Hannah attention like he had. I didn't even know his name yet.
Hannah didn't want to talk about it anymore, instead she threw my bedroom door open and walked out, waiting for us to follow after her. I guess it was time to go and meet the boys now. As we entered the refrec the boys noticed us immediately. Probably as eager as we were to hear about Hannah's date, I know they all cared for each other as much as i did for them.
As usual I sat down next to Aiden, who instantly placed his arm around my shoulder, if this was becoming a habit then it's a habit I didn't mind, I thought smugly to myself. Hannah had sat next to me as usual, opposite Bryan who instantly pounced on her with questions as soon as she sat down "Sooo how was it?" He asked.
Hannah launched into the retelling of her date in more detail this time to the whole group. I listened in but turned my attention to Aiden who was already looking down at me and smiling. He leant down then to whisper in my ear "How would you feel about that date still?" He asked, referencing the first time he had asked me out, the same day I also found out about his situation with Claire.
Shaking those thoughts away quickly, not wanting to think too hard on it again, I grinned up at Aiden and mischievously said "I don't know, are you ready for something like that?" I referenced back to when he was hesitant to be seen with me. He laughed at that, attracting the groups attention momentarily before Hannah continued the retelling of her date. They left us having our own moment, they could probably hear what was being said and didn't want to interrupt.
"Oh I am so ready to show you off to the world now" he said, pulling me in closer to his side and whispering in my ear again, so the group wouldn't hear "How does meeting me at our place later today sound?"
I nodded my head at him before listening back into the group again. They were all deciding on when they should meet up again today. Aiden taking the lead when they asked us if we were joining said "Oh no. I'm sorry guys, I'm going to be dragging Cerise away from you for a while, we're going on our date I promised a while ago," he looked at me when he said this.
