My date yesterday was all I could think about as I waltzed through across the grounds this morning towards the refrec. The girls were walking ahead of me, absorbed in their own conversation about some assignment they had to do for a class they shared, so I left them to it. The quad was rather empty now it was November and winter had set in fully, the chill too biting for even us to sit outside happily now.

I did notice someone lounging against the main back entrance into the academy though as we approached, it looked like they were waiting for someone. As we got closer I could make out the deep scowl and figure of Jasper, my brother, as he leant against the wall.

Getting closer I was shocked as he straitened up when he saw me, belonging in my direction as if to talk to me. I paused In my steps waiting for him to reach me, I was interested to hear what he had to say to me this time. The girls paused when they noticed Jasper heading on my direction, turning to look at me, I nodded for them to go ahead. They reluctantly left, sending glances over their shoulders as they did.

Only when they entered inside leaving Jasper and I alone on the quad did he finally speak "Mother and father are coming in today, I thought you should know because you'll be missing training class to spend some time with them" that's all he said before he knocked past me walking back towards the dorms.

He left me with that news and all I could do was stand there alone outside, contemplating why our parents would be coming to the academy. Jasper must have said something to them to make them come her I thought angrily. I could only imagine what they would have to say about some of the stuff that had gone on over the last few months and off my new group of friends.

The thought of missing training was rather worrying, it was my only chance in the day to work out some of the anticipation my wolf was steadily building up over the days. Without it I was essentially a ticking time bomb. This conversation was going to go over oh so well.

With that last thought I continued on to the refrec joining my friends at our table. They were all discussing various assignments we had to do before the holidays which were fast approaching when I seated myself, they didn't stop their conversation as I did. It allowed me time to gather my thoughts before I spoke to Aiden "I won't be in training today just so you know, my parents are coming and wish to see me"

Aiden looked on at me concerned over this after what I told him yesterday, he had probably figured out it didn't mean good things if they were here "Are you going to be OK." He asked. Nodding my head I reassured him I would be fine but I don't think he believed me as much I had hoped "Well if you aren't or need someone to talk to after you know where to find me" he said. It warmed my heart to know he card so much about me.

All throughout my classes I couldn't focus properly, the anticipation over meeting my parents building as the time came nearer. Walking along the stone corridors towards the main entrance where I would have to wait for my parents to arrive I found Mr. Wraster also stood waiting.

Upon seeing me coming down the stairs he scowled at me, I guess this guy really still didn't like me. I ignored him and his scoff as I came to stand next to him waiting for my parents arrival. Neither of us spoke to the other, rather pretending the other wasn't there. That suited me fine, I didn't need to start off the conversation with my parents already pissed off, that wouldn't bode well.

The large wooden doors I walked through on that first day I was dropped of here, swung open. My mother and father striding through, heads held high and exerting power as they did. My fathers attention immediacy focussed on me his gaze narrowed as he examined me. He must have been looking for something with how his gaze didn't waiver, even when he reached my eyes. He didn't hold me stare for long though, not allowing me the respect, he just stuck out his hand to Mr. Wraster "It's good to see you again" he grumbled in his deep voice, shaking their hands.
