Chapter 20

It was only Sunday so I wasn't expecting my usual wake up call today so when I woke up to find both Hannah and Darla already in my room seated in various places I woke with a startle. "Wha.. what are you guys doing in here?" Flopping back down onto the bed I mumbled "what time is it even?" Surprised didn't even begin to explain how I felt right now as I was waking up.

"Well it's 11am and we are here because we wanted to speak to you but you were still sleeping so we waited" Hannah said as if that was enough to explain everything.

Darla rolled her eyes and expanded "what she means to say is we wanted to talk to you about Aiden. You need to tell him Cerise, especially if the change is affecting him, it's getting harder to make it less noticeable and now he's around all the time it's only a matter of time before he finds out."

I groaned loudly displaying my displeasure. "I knowww OK" I whined. "It's been on my mind recently especially with how noticeable my wolf is becoming now" that amongst other things was part of the reason "I will do it soon I promise you guys OK." Hannah made me swear to her that I would soon otherwise she wouldn't leave me much choice with it.

They both came over and dragged me out of the bed, one arm each. Forcing me to finally face the day today and whatever that may entail. Sighing I stood up and put the clothes on that Hannah handed me, not fighting her on this. She obviously had a reason to be rushing me out of my room this morning.

They girls didn't go to the refrec as I expected them to, instead the led me past it and to the front of the school where there was a car waiting. The boys already seated inside. I squished in between Hannah and Darla in the back, Aiden sat up front with Bryan and Vince sat in the middle row. Bryan set off as soon as we were seated driving off to who knows where "where exactly are you guys kidnapping me to by the way? I didn't know we planned to leave site today" I said. I wasn't the biggest fan of surprises like this because I felt like the only one who didn't know what was going on right now.

Aiden glanced back at me from the front of the car "we thought that it would be nice to go into town and get food and do some things just to get away, we know you've had it pretty rough recently and well why not hey?" The boys all hollered at the prospect of getting some decent food again, I knew that was enough to convince Bryan to drive us out here. I just grinned at them all grateful for them kidnapping me to take me out for food and some fun in town. It was much needed.

In town we went to the same diner we did last time we ate out, although this time we didn't have any issues with the waiters or waitresses flirting with us, an older woman was in today serving us and even though she did give us some curious looks she generally left us alone. It was a nice difference to our last experience here. After some decent food we wandered around the town looking at some of the different shops, much to the boys amusement, and some of the other things that the town had to offer.

We found out that there was a small fair in town this weekend at the local park so we headed over there to check it out. The park itself wasn't that interesting just a fenced off grassy area with a few trees dotted around, there was even a few play park bits for kids to play on. The fair itself was pretty decent, there was the classic Ferris wheel and some smaller rides for younger kids as well as some of this hook a duck sort of stands that were basically a scam. I knew immediately that I wanted to go for a ride on the Ferris wheel with Aiden. It was such a romantic thing to do.

As we entered we all dispersed into smaller groups agreeing to meet back at the entrance in a bit. So I dragged Aidan straight over to the Ferris wheel, he whined about the prospect of having to go on it but I just pulled a puppy face on him and he soon caved. I jumped in joy as he groaned about me being to cute for my own good. As it got to our turn I eagerly climbed into the little cart that would take us round, Aiden reluctantly climbing in still whining about it. He really was kicking up a bit of a fuss about it.
