The weekend was officially over, and it was Monday again. Which meant classes had resumed. Throwing on the academy uniform I was excited to start the day and see Aiden again now that we were friends. I also decided today would be the day where I would read some more of the book on Alpha Sheila.

Hannah knocked and entered my room before I could even grant her entrance to come in. Sputtering I said, "Excuse you, what if I was naked or something?"

Hannah gave me a stern look, "It's the or something I'm more worried about now that you and Aiden are finally talking" she was smirking by the time she finished.

I huffed ignoring her, getting my bag ready for the day making sure I had the book too. As if reminding me I told Hannah "Hey I'm going to go read some more of the book today, I think i'll go outside though since its probably one of the few nicer days we will have."

Hannah clearly wasn't paying much attention to me, grinning down at her phone she mumbled a quick dismissive reply "Yeah, yeah, sure, that's fine" she even flicked her hand at me, still grinning down at her phone. Shaking my head with a chuckle I directed Hannah out of my room and into the hallway. Time to head to breakfast before the boys got too impatient and came searching for us. Breakfast passed with no incidents, everyone in the group a little distracted, even I was, Aiden didn't come join us like I had hoped but I didn't really expect him to either.

Classes passed and it was soon lunch time, where I decided I would go and read outside. I headed out towards the fields behind the dorms where I knew it would be quiet. Wandering across the grass I noticed someone up in the trees, as I got closer I could scent it was Aiden, deciding to stop and chat I jumped up onto the lower branch pulling myself up.

By the time I had pulled myself up to Aiden's level and taken a seat he was sat staring at me with a quizzical brow, almost asking me what I was doing. "Do you mind if I sit and read with you? I brought a book and I won't be a distraction, I promise" I pleaded with Aiden, it's always nice to have someone sat with you even if it is in silence. Aiden turned back to his book a small smile playing on his face as reply, I guess that was a yes then.

I took my book out turning to the page I had last read about Alpha Sheila and her background, before she became a true alpha.

'Sheila was of no pack position before her transition to a true alpha, but people were always drawn to her, seeking her leadership and advice on things. The Alpha of her pack although they wouldn't admit it also often looked to Sheila for advice because of how everyone trusted her so easily. It wasn't until people's loyalty towards Sheila was tested that she really started to grow in power, her and those closest to her changing. A series of considerable events lead to Sheila gaining her true power, her ability to bring those together, her leadership over these people, confidence and acceptance in herself and her abilities and overcoming the fear and pressure that comes with becoming a True Alpha'

Reading this made me think about what she must have gone through to develop the skills to become a true alpha. Turning the page to see if there was more on her transition and those of her friends to her pack, I was saddened to find I had finished the book. Frowning i flicked back through to see if there was anything else about her transition anywhere, I don't know why it was so important to me but I really felt the need to find out more. Vince did warn me there wasn't much about her as a true alpha in this book.

Frowning even more I realised there really wasn't anything much at all about True Alphas and how they earned their power, maybe this was something I should ask about in class tomorrow with Mrs. Blase, surely she would have an answer. I could see Aiden repeatedly looking between me and my book when I started frowning, maybe he could sense my frustration over the lack of information I found. He chose not to say anything about it though.
