When I awoke today I was still riding the high of Aiden and I last night. But I was quickly remind by Hannah barging into my room that we had classes today, our short day of having finally ended. She marched over to my bed and I, scolding me for still being in bed, muttering how if I didn't get up and shower now I would be late. Apparently I stunk because I hadn't showered once I came in last night after swimming in the pool at the waterfall. I did have to admit I stunk a little.
Getting up I went for a shower, cleaning myself thoroughly so that Hannah would be happy. It's amazing what you would do for your friends. Re-entering my room I found Hannah lounging in my desk chair, a black leather jacket in her hands. I hadn't realised that I hadn't given Aiden his jacket back from last night until now. As I walked into the room Hannah looked up at me smirking "Oh I get it now, you didn't come back to us because you were hanging out with your boo, I mean I don't blame you"
I didn't reply to her, instead getting dressed for the day. I didn't really want to talk about it because then they would ask why and where we were and then I would have to tell them about my brother and the waterfall. Neither of which I wanted to do. I dressed in the academy uniform which had begun to grow on me now I had my friends around me, for once in my life I'm glad my parents forced me into coming here I thought gratefully. Grabbing Aiden's jacket from Hannah I put it on over my blazer, I would give it back to him today if he came to join us, until then I wanted to his scent close to me.
Darla came knocking soon after and I yelled at her to enter. Once all the girls were in my room the real grilling began before we would head to breakfast with the boys. Darla had noticed the jacket when she entered not being able to resist she asked "Oooh nice jacket Cerise I wonder where you got that from" she added a wink for extra affect. They both loved teasing me over Aiden that was for sure.
"Oh don't you start, I've already heard it all from Hannah" i grumbled, pretending I was annoyed at them "it's not like the both of you don't have your little things going on either" I said pointedly. Drawing attention to the pair of them for a change. The pair of them blushed, I expected it from Darla but not Hannah. I couldn't resist teasing her back "Oh no, don't tell me, you have actually caught feelings have you Hannah." I faked a shocked expression just to annoy her further, Darla laughing at the pair of us.
Hannah didn't get mad instead blushing harder and uttering "Eugh! Tell me about it, it's like my golden rule to not catch feelings and yet here I am. He asked me out on a date, we're going today by the way, so I could use your help getting ready if you are up for it?" She asked, I could tell she was nervous because she was asking for our help to get ready. She really must like this guy then, I was happy for her.
Darla and I shrieked in glee, "Of course we will" we squealed at the same time, which was a little weird in itself.
Darla calmed down quicker sitting down on the bed and smiling at us all "On the topic of boys, I think you both already know probably but I really like Vince, and I think he likes me too" Hannah and I both looked her in disbelief that she was unsure if Vince liked her. We both kept reassuring her that Vince did like her, I even offered to speak to him to help move things along but she told me not to, wanting to move at their own pace. Which I could respect. If I had learnt anything from Aiden and I you both needed to be on the same level before anything else could happen. If you weren't it would only end in tears.
Pulling them both into a hug I told them "Oh I'm so happy for you both, you both deserve to find happiness. Now we just have to find Bryan someone and we will all be sorted." We all burst out laughing at that, knowing it would be a challenge for any girl to make Bryan settle down. But it would happen one day, and I hope whoever that lucky girl is makes him work for it. God knows he needs to.
