It was a Monday morning, 7:00am as I was finally getting dressed in the academy uniform. I'd officially been here for a month now. Over the last month my group had become closer, my wolfs instinct to protect the group increasing. Which meant some very verbal but few confrontations with Claire here and there, otherwise she'd generally left us alone.

In the last month nothing much had happened with Aiden, no more races in training, secret smiles or glances. Nothing. Which was slightly disappointing but I guess that's life. He wasn't interested, which hurt more than I thought it would.

Finally even though I was now at the same school as my brother, we were yet to actually interact with each other, he was clearly avoiding me, but I don't know why. I miss him. It's been so long since I last really talked to him, and I don't know how to fix whatever is wrong with us.

Sighing over the instances of the last month, I turned to the mirror to check my outfit. Knowing my uniform looked OK I decided to braid my hair, something I don't usually do because I like it down with the curls on show, but today I could already feel that something was going to happen, I didn't need the extra faff of having my hair down. Once braided I was ready to go to breakfast, grabbing my bag I left my room, bumping into Hannah, who was apparently about to knock on my door. It's become a bit of a routine for us to meet and walk to the refrec together, the same with Vince and Bryan.

"Well, Look who's up bright and early today, you're actually on time for once" Hannah drawled, referring to the fact that she usually has to be the one to wake me up, literally dragging me out of bed.

"Yeah not today, I've been up for a while, my wolf is on edge at the moment" I said shrugging my shoulders, but its usually a good idea to trust your wolfs instincts.

"Hmm that's interesting, my wolf is unsettled too, I'm not too sure over what though, maybe its worth going for a run later?" Hannah suggested and I nodded in agreement as a reply. "Well, I guess we should head to breakfast then, don't you think Cerise, the boys will be lost without us" Hannah said, offering her arm to me.

Linking my arm with Hannah's we made our way out of the dorm and across the quad. Chatting away we didn't notice the boys approaching until they tackled us down, grinning in triumph over it. "Oh come on you guys. Seriously! I'm hungry, tired and sooo not in the mood for this today" I muttered, hitting Bryan who had tackled me down on the back, "Get off me you giant buffoon" I exclaimed.

"Hey that's not very nice, what's eating at you this morning?" Bryan said, surprised at my reaction, usually I just laugh it off. But today I just wasn't in the mood, what with how my wolf was feeling and all.

Getting off me and offering a hand to help me up, Bryan heaved my body up off the ground "I'm sorry Bryan, its just" I sighed brushing off the grass that had gotten onto me "Its just my wolf and I, we're on edge, like something is going to happen, and its making me sort of snappy, I really didn't mean too" I continued, sighing again.

At hearing this both the boys looked at me but it was Vince that replied, Bryan looking slightly quizzical, "Humph that's weird, I've been feeling the same ever since I woke up this morning"

Bryan also voiced his concern "Yeah me too, how strange."

"How are we all feeling the same thing? I don't understand" I mumbled, lost in my thoughts, Vince also looked deep in thought too.

Before I could question him about it Hannah broke the silence "Well, lets not think on it too much now, I don't know about you guys, but I am extremely hungry" just then her stomach growled in hunger as if voicing its agreement with her statement, causing all of us to chuckle, completely breaking the last of the silence.
