The next day I didn't wake up until late into the morning, my head aching with the after effects of alcohol. I can only imagine what the others were feeling today. Groaning I dragged myself out of bed and into the shower, desperate to feel the warm hot spray against my aching muscles. Having finally dressed and showered I sprawled back out on my bed not ready to leave the confines of my room just yet. It wasn't until then that I remembered the events of yesterday.
I still couldn't believe that he was there and everything he had said. It made sense to me now their relationship, and how he acted around her and me, but it still didn't excuse his lack of consideration towards my feelings. Was he ever going to tell me? My wolf was eager to accept him back, she understood he did wrong. But could also see that he was willing to change for us and that had to mean something.
I could understand her view, but I wasn't able to so easily forget the hurt, if I did accept his friendship again he would have to work to earn my trust and respect back. And it wasn't just mine either, he would have to earn my friends respect back, which definitely wouldn't be easy with Bryan and Hannah.
Having made my decision I was ready to face the world again. Determined to sort things out I found myself in the refrec, Vince and Darla already there chatting happily as they ate their breakfast. I guess Hannah and Bryan hadn't managed to make it out yet, they did drink the most out of us all, egging each other on constantly. I would be surprised if they didn't throw up at some point in the night.
I was hesitant about joining Vince and Darla, not wanting to interrupt their time. As I was about to find somewhere else to sit Darla looked up noticing me stood there and waved me over. Caught in the act I joined them sitting down opposite them both.
"So are you ready to talk about last night yet?" Darla asked. She knew I had disappeared off and Aiden had followed after the scene he caused but none of them knew what exactly had happened after that, giving us the privacy then to sort our problems out.
I smiled slightly at them both "I'll tell you when the others get here, whenever that may be" I joked.
Vince looked at me suspiciously. His eyes squinted as he regarded me carefully. Suddenly he broke into a smile "You're back together aren't you?" He exclaimed "Oh I can see it all over your face you so are! I'm so excited for you" when he said that Darla starting watching me, smiling to herself. I guess she had also figured it out then. Neither of them seemed to be anything but genuinely happy for me which was nice. It was Bryan and Hannah I was most worried about, they usually acted without thinking.
We didn't have to wait much longer before Hannah joined us barring Bryan. She stumbled in wearing a pair of sunglasses, glaring at anyone that came too close, and looking worse for the ware. I knew she wasn't in the best of moods already, she only confirmed this as she sat down, laying her head on the table and groaning aloud "Eugh! I feel so bad, why did you let me drink so much. I don't even remember most of the night" she kept on moaning intelligible things about the light being to bright and other stuff like that.
We just ignored her leaving her to it. Only minutes later Bryan stumbled in, looking even worse than Hannah did. I guess they really did a number on each other last night. I couldn't help but laugh at the pair of them as they laid there groaning about never drinking again. They stopped to glare at me briefly before returning to their groaning. The group slowly started growing silent, their attention focussed on something behind me. Whatever it was it had managed to silence Bryan and Hannah, but they didn't look very happy about it.
I reluctantly turned to see what was going on, steeling myself for something bad. Instead all I found was Aiden stood there looking at me with hope as he twiddled his thumbs anxiously. I didn't understand what he was doing here. As if he realised this he carefully asked "Erm hey. I know I'm not all of your biggest fans right now, but can I sit with you?"
