NOW BACK IN SALLY'S BEDROOM, the pair sprawled out in her bed beside each other, full to the brim and drowsy from dinner.

Eddie turned his head too her, a content smile on his face as hers was blank. "You think Max will be okay?"

Sally continued to stare at her ceiling, a common action for her. "Yeah, she'll get through it, I mean we all have too" The fact that Eddie Munson truly cared for her little sisters feelings was outstanding, it shined a new light on him that had been shadowed with Sally's disbelieving attitude.

He moved the mellow subject on quickly, opting to go back too his usual pleasure of irritating her. "I can't lie sweetheart, you've been a shit tutor tonight"

She looked to him with wide eyes, her jaw dropping low at his words. "I told you I had shit to do Munson" She smacked his chest with her hand, rolling over too her side for more strength.

"Well we only did about fifteen minutes!" He chuckled, causing Sally to continue shoving him off her bed. Suddenly, he grabbed her wrists too stop her.

"I'm sure they'd be many people honoured to spend fifteen minutes with me" She mused, trying too escape his strong grip.

All at once, he released his hold and Sally toppled from above him, Eddie using this as a tactic too now cage her between his arms.

"Get off me you oaf!" She giggled uncontrollably, his hands moving too her wast too relentlessly tickle her.

He stopped his movements, but didn't move away. His long curls almost fully enveloped her face, his guitar pick chain falling onto her chest too. "What did I say, it's so easy too infuriate you"

Sally rolled her eyes from below him, trying not too think too hard about there closeness, or the position they were in. She seemed too miss his face soften, eyes travelling too her lips.

"You and that god damn eye rolling" He lowered his voice, she had heard it clearly, but it was taking a while too render in her brain.

Mixed emotions were going haywire through her brain; panic, giddiness, lust. She didn't know what she was doing, a very familiar feeling too her, but it stuck out like a sore thumb in that moment. She didn't dislike the fact that Eddie was slowly moving inches closer too her, both of their eyes locked together with anticipation.

Her thoughts caught up with her, especially ones from the hectic night of Neil's departure. Her crazy life didn't seem to co-operate in her favour, it was always negative negative negative, one after the other. Why would someone like Eddie want to kiss a girl like her? If she was reading the signs right, he did, for yet another unknown reason. Maybe it was pity? He felt bad for the girl who had a rocky home life, wanted too make her feel better, nothing more, nothing less.

Saved by the bell- or knock in this scenario, they moved apart like they'd been doing something inappropriate, which was definitely not about to happen. Billy peeped his head through the door, seeing the two of them looking down a little flustered from the intimate turned moment.

"So how did the job thing go?" Sally asked, putting a smile on her face, hiding the torn emotions away.

"Yeah good, starting in June though" He shrugged, looking between the two apprehensively. "Lifeguarding"

Sally nodded, and watched silently as he closed the door and walked away. She didn't see that one coming, Billy as a lifeguard? He must have an ulterior motive behind getting that job, probably to show off his abs.

After a moment of deafening silence, Eddie cleared his throat, turning back into his normal cheery self. "Well, next time we should actually do something productive" He teased, throwing his denim jacket on and making his way to the front door, Sally following without a word.
