SALLY KNEW SHE COULDN'T AVOID IT FOREVER. She'd been dodging Eddie Munson all day, although she knew she'd have to sit next to him in Chemistry later that day. She thought she was the most unluckiest girl in the world because of this predicament she was in.
When that time of the day came, she sat down with a huff next to a smirking Eddie, who chuckled lowly as she stared straight ahead, praying this was all just a misunderstanding.
"So you hear the good news then?" He leaned closer to her to whisper as their teacher was explaining something.
"Far from good" She muttered, writing some notes to stop herself from exploding at him. She knew it wasn't his fault, but it still bugged her.
"Well deal with Mayfield, if I fail, it's your fault now"
"My fault?"
He hummed, turning himself back around to listen to their teacher drawling on about something neither of them could care less about. When were they actually going to use this stuff in real life?
Seconds later he continued. "So, what you thinking? After school at my place?"
"Absolutely not"
He chuckled again, revelling in her fury. "Gotta think of something soon sweetheart"
She rolled her eyes at him, a common habit when it came to Eddie Munson talking to her. "Fine, at lunch then, Library" She pointed at him, a stern look on her face. "And I swear to god Munson if you fool around I'm not bothering"
He held his heart, a feigned expression of sincereness on his face. "I would never!"
They continued their lesson in silence, Sally's thoughts trailing off. Maybe she could just give him the completely wrong things to study for the fun of it? No, she wasn't that mean, even if he was the bane of her existence in her opinion.
When the final bell rang for the end of school, Eddie was first to go, stopping for a moment and turning around to wink at her. "See you tomorrow"

She'd had a short nights sleep the night prior, Billy had been blasting his music for hours, then got into an argument with Max over something minuscule.
Safe to say she was tired and grumpy, not in the mood for school at all. She'd just slung on a cozy sweater under the usual double denim she wore and headed out.
The young girl dragged herself around school all day, almost forgetting that she had to meet Eddie at lunch, which may have made her mood even worse when she saw him actually turn up.
"You look rough" Eddie commented, pulling out a chair in front of her and spinning it around to sit the wrong way round on it.
"Gee, thanks Munson" Sally tutted, picking up the flash cards she'd just written. "Let's get this over with then" She mumbled more to herself.
She began to ask him questions about Romeo and Juliet that they'd been studying, trying to figure out what he needed help with. Turns out it was basically all of it, unless he was just messing with her.
"Jesus Munson! Where have you been for the last two years?" Sally asked, confused why he didn't even get the author correct.
He shrugged, looking down at the answers. "Well, not in English class obviously, it's a bunch of bullshit"
Sally thought the opposite of this, Romeo and Juliet may not have been her first choice of books to read, but it wasn't bullshit. "Just read the book dipshit" She handed him the book, earning a scoff.
