RAVELLED UP IN SOMETHING SHE DIDN'T WANT TO DO ONCE AGAIN, she reluctantly agreed with a roll of her eyes.

The Hellfire club had missing a member they so desperately needed, and of course all the other stand-ins had declined. So Eddie had begged and bribed Sally too help out just for that night, she wasn't very ecstatic about it. But when he brought his puppy dog eyes out, the urge to say no dissipated into thin air.

Before anyone had arrived after school, Eddie explained the basics, going over it continuously as she couldn't wrap her head around the rules. She had obviously never played it before.

When everyone arrived, the were surprisingly friendly and welcoming, not what she'd expected but it made her feel better. They were mostly in the same grade as her, but a few were younger, all styling the same club shirts.

"So you're the smarty pants tutoring Eddie?" Gareth nodded too her after introducing himself.

She snorted lightly, not depicting herself as the smartest person, but she had been able to improve his knowledge the past weeks so she took in stride. If after all the hours she'd put into tutoring him, he failed, she'd be very disappointed.

After they'd all introduced themselves, they took their places, Eddie swiftly moving Jeff too another seat so she could sit beside him whilst he took the head of the table, which was decked out with cards, dice and an intricately designed book.

She gratefully took the seat, but was took back as Eddie started too read out of the book in a deep mysterious way. She fought with herself too keep her giggle in, planting a palm over her mouth too disguise it.

After a while of setting everything off, she found herself intrigued with it all, everyone seemed very passionate about it. And it was far from satanic, like how it had been perceived too be.

"Hail lord Vecna..." Eddie lowered his voice ominously, repeating it whilst getting louder. Once again, she didn't know what was going on, but had the wit to know it wasn't anything good.

"No, he's supposed to be dead?!" Was shouted out, the others face palming and banging the tables in distress. "He was killed by Kas!"

Eddie shook his head with a smirk, placing down a figurine of who she thought must be this Vecna guy. "So it was thought my friends, so it was thought" He smirked to Sally, who had raised eyebrows at the raised noise level now. "But Vecna lives!" He chuckled, falling back into his chair dramatically.

"Sorry, who's Vecna?" Sally spoke up, thinking it was better too voice her bewilderment. She had kept silent throughout the first half, so everyone turned too her at once.

"He was born a thousand years ago in the Greyhawk world, he has dark magic and he conquered realms just from an obsidian tower" Jeff easily explained too her, like she'd understand.

She looked at him blankly, now thinking that this was a very bad idea. "Uh, what?"

He huffed at what he thought was ignorance. "He's basically and evil sorcerer"

She pursed her lips and nodded, leaning back on her chair, trying too keep every little bit of information in her head. Desperately not wanting to ruin the whole night for Eddie, she took a deep breath in and decided to give it her best shot. "Right, so what are we going to do?"

"I only have twenty three hit points left, Vecna will smoke us all" Gareth huffed meekly, accepting his defeat.

Sally checked her sheet of paper, looking for her stats that she'd kept note of, it looked good for her, she hadn't fought much so had more hit points then the rest. "No point running" She shrugged. "I say we fight"
