She walked out and he just sighed.
Ducky saw Jethro looking perplexed
"I would ask if your okay but I'm guessing this case has hit a nerve for your Eleanor"
"Yes and she wasn't great this morning and I have no idea"
"Ah just be there for her Jethro she'll tell you when she's ready"
"Yeah I know, I just wish I could read her mind"
When they were back at base
"Update" he growled
"So we know Jason Roberts a navy officer just come back from deployment went directly in to the restaurant from the ship and started shooting" McGee said
"We found nothing linking him to it in the kitchen but we had a blood trail that stops in the car park. Abby is currently watching that CCTV for either Jason or a another victim" Torres added then handing over the clicker to bishop
"Okay four bodies all their deaths captured on the video which again is with Abby and only four people in the restaurant which is owned by a Mr King who has been contacted"
"Quinn what did his brother have to say?"
"He wasn't surprised and said it may be related to drugs and said that his brother would always go to that restaurant and would check his emails as Jason would often unload on there. He's upstairs doing that now"
"Good, Bishop with me let's go see the bodies, rest of you follow up and see how the brother is"
In the stopped elevator
"I'm fine I promise"
"Okay can I kiss you?"
She snuggled into him
He lifted her chin to kiss her
"Perks of the job" she smiled at that and his kiss
"Ooh talking of which" delving into her pocket
"Huh you waited a long time" as she began eating the candy bar he gave her that morning
He smiled
"Much better now my Growler"
"There's more in my desk if you need it my love"
"Right bodies"
"True love" as the doors opened at autopsy
"True love?" Asked Ducky with a smile
"What can I say Duck she's a keeper"
"Indeed she is. Now come on you two let us show you what we've got"
That night the sitter was there until late and Growler and Food Monster were forever grateful.
"Hmm hopefully now Jason has made contact he'll hand himself in"
"Yes my food monster hopefully so, err why don't you choose a date for not tomorrow but the next evening. Aunty Abby is free to look after Caitlin"
"Ooh I shall" dipping in to the local or stay at home jar she pulled out
"A fond memory" she read out even though it was written in his scrawl
"Ah the little bistro it is then"
"Our first date"
"Hmm now come let me shower with you and remind you of some more fond memories."
