Gibbs was tired Caitlin their baby food monster was teething and had kept them up pretty much all night. Thankfully Bishop had gone out to find some medicine as they had run out and Caitlin had finally settled enough for them to kind of get some sleep.
Growler rolled over to his food monster.
"Morning" he whispered
"Morning" she replied turning to face him.
He then kissed her before saying
"Growler very tired"
"Food monster too"
"Wish we didn't have to go in"
"I know, but didn't you say Vance wanted to see us"
"Yep" he replied snuggling in to her some more
"Best get baby food monster up so she can have some more meds before we take her to nursery"
"Growler needs his medicine too" he mumbled
"Hmm coffee"
"And kisses"
"Well as you're the boss I would hate to defy a direct order"
He smirked before she started kissing him
"That's my girl"
Kissing her neck making her giggle.
He nearly fell back to sleep
But soon they were up and out of the house. They dropped off Baby food monster and then found more coffee.
"Uh oh late night" asked McGee as they came out of the elevator
"Teething" he growled
"Say no more"
"Vance in yet"
"Err not that I've seen"
Gibbs nodded and sat down at his desk
He led back in his chair
"Wake me up when he arrives" closing his eyes
Food monster smiled
And McGee messaged her
"I'll text Quinn and Torres to keep quiet"
"Thanks Tim, it's been a long few nights."
He got about half an hour in before his desk phone rang
"Yeah Gibbs"
"Yes, sir we'll be up"
He smiled at the others who had kept quiet
"I'm not sure how he does it"
"I know I don't think I'll ever be able to deal with teething and everything"
"Ah I dunno Nick when it's your child"
"True but I'll just stick to looking after me"
Which made Quinn and McGee laugh
Meanwhile Bishop and Gibbs stood in the director's office
"Everything okay Gibbs?"
He just grunted he was still a little tired
"Teething kept us up all night."
"Ah, okay I'll get straight to the point"
He opened a file on his desk
"I need you both to go undercover"
"As?"
"As husband and wife, we have a robber that focuses on marines"
