Chapter 3 - Complaints

{A week ago, Vault of Knowledge}

[The City of Vault is a huge city built with the Vault of Knowledge, an ancient building. The majority of the two dominating sky child populations live in this area. It was always busy with people no matter the time, but never a heavy crowded river. The guard force of the Vault was the strongest force of guards. Many Ederi Skylier as well as upper skilled sky children have been known to be trained well.

As of the recent month, corruption raids have been happening more often, each one getting more dangerous. Even the guards of Vault are starting to have casualties. In the most recent raid, a resident from the northwest block calls out for help. Thalasso runs to the resident.]

Is everything okay?

Vault Resideny
There's another attack!

Thalasso
You have to be kidding me... get the guards! I'll hold them off.

Vault Resident
Yes sir.

[As the Vault Resident runs to tell the Vault of Knowledge Guards, Thalasso runs to the northwest block and encounters corrupted sky kids attacking other residents. It was not long until the guards had arrived to help out but by the time the raid was foiled, the casualites were larger than before.

Calibe, the leader of the Wastero Skylier and the guardian of the Golden Wasteland sent some high rank Wasteland Guards to hopefully assist in the upcoming raids. Worried that the Golden Wasteland may face raids as well, he decided to higher the guard force. With assurance that the Vault is in good hands, Thalasso makes his way to Daylight Prairie.]

{Present, Daylight Prairie}

[In the butterfly fields, Akirianis and Thalasso discuss about recent complaints and raid in the Vault of Knowledge.]

Thalasso
There's been a lot of attacks going on in the Vault of Knowledge. The residents there are starting to become concerned.

Akirianis
How often has this been happening?

Thalasso
At least two times a week. It's always random.

Akirianis
This is quite concerning...

Thalasso
Moreover, the Vault of Knowledge Guards are starting to have casualites and they're our strongest guard force. The Wastero leader even ordered to higher the guard protection in both the Vault and the Golden Wasteland. It hasn't been easy ever since Ederi leader Pythoris had disappeared and now things are starting to go downhill.

[Akirianis' heart slowly sinks into worry and grief. His worry for the residents of the Prairie and his adopted brother and sister grows more until he looked ill from nausea.]

Thalasso
You don't look too good, sir.

Akirianis
I know we are far from the Vault of Knowledge but I'm worried about the residents here... especially Lyrinn and Syronos.

Thalasso
... Your worry is not unfounded. The corruption could raid here.

Akirianis
If there are gonna be attacks here, I want you to get the two out to safety and guard them with your life.

Thalasso
Understood

Akirianis
Lyrinn may be powerful, but that does not mean she's immortal. And I do not want the only person left of my lost love to die because of a raid.

[Thalasso had long forgotten who Akirianis' lost love was, but he still knew that "lost love" had a relationship with Lyrinn of some sort.]

Thalasso
... I understand.

Akirianis
Tomorrow morning, I'll meet up with the Daylight Prairie guards, I need you to guard the main town until I am done with the meeting.

Thalasso
Alright.

We must prepare for the worst. I'll need to meet up with the leaders soon as well.
