A few days had passed by aimlessly, time had been a trivial matter to you. And with that also came boredom, so much that you would actually prefer the little playtime session you had with Douma than doing nothing at all.

Today, however, when Douma came to your bedchamber, he brought with him blue hydrangea flowers that reminded you oddly of someone. The girl you saw that night, in the outskirts of Yoshiwara District, those flowers reminded you of her because they were the same color as her eyes.

Blue and serene, so beautiful, like her name.

"Did you come just to bring flowers?" You asked, looking at Douma. "Even in funerals, they stay for a short while after bringing flowers to the dead."

"And how did you know that?" Douma asked, walking back to the bed.

You averted your eyes to the side. "From books. I read that people often do that in the West."

Douma didn't say anything but he hummed in response, climbing up on the soft mattress. He moved closer to you, his smile showing his sharp pointed canines before his cold hand touched your face.

"Oh but you're very much alive, Y/n-chan," he said, his hand moving down from your face, wrapping his fingers around your neck. "You can't die."
