Saige's POV

It's been a couple days since my concussion, and all the symptoms are pretty much gone now. Wesley promised me he would help me throw a party since I surfed, so I'm making him help me today. I got up bright and early (yes, eleven o'clock is bright and early) to go over there. I didn't knock because they could have guessed it was me.

"Wesley isn't up yet?" I asked Drew, who was in his underwear and didn't care.

"Nope, lovebird's still in bed. What's up?"

"What do you mean lovebird?" I asked.

"He's all giddy because he met this girl a couple weeks ago, you know boys," he winked. For some reason, I felt jealous. No, it can't be jealousy I'm feeling. No I'm not jealous. I'm happy with Eli. I know I am. Wesley and I had a thing once, but it's over, right?

"Oh," I said, sounding a little more disappointed than I intended. A smirk grew upon his face before I left the kitchen. I went up to his room.

"Time to wake up, buttercup," I cheered, jumping on his bed. I jumped right onto his stomach, making him jolt awake.

"I fucking hate you," he muttered, clutching his stomach. I rolled off of him and to the side while he recovered.

"Love you too," I sang. His body got kind of tense beside me when I said that word. He's probably not used to me saying it. It's true, I do hate that word, but I really do love him. I love all of my friends. I just don't particularly like the other term of love. Elijah and I haven't said it to each other yet either.

"What is so important that you needed to wake me up this early for?" He groaned.

"It's eleven o'clock, Wesley. We're throwing a party tonight, and you promised you'd help," I reminded. He rolled his eyes at me.

"Can't it wait?" He complained.

"No, because we have to go shopping. You're going to come help me get food and drinks, and something to wear," I informed him. He's always hated shopping with me, so I hope he's gotten better.

"Shopping? With you?" Could've seen that one coming.

"Yes! I'll buy you lunch, okay? Come on," I pleaded. He finally got up and threw some different clothes on. He didn't bother getting a shower. Gross, I know, but that's how boys are. We left around one, since we hung around for awhile before we went. He drove his new fancy baby. That's what he called it. Apparently it meant more to him than me.

We arrived at the mall to find me an outfit first. I checked two stores and found nothing. Wesley wasn't any help because, like a typical guy, he said everything looked good. He used to be honest, but it seems as if he's scared to tell me if I look bad in something now. We were in the third store, and a girl came running up to Wesley.

"Wesley! Can I get a picture? I'm a huge fan. I watched you guys on xFactor. You were so good," she rambled.

"Of course, sweetie. Thanks! Your support means the world," he smiled, his eyes lighting up, like when he really smiles. Wesley's real smile is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. It can make anyone's day better.

"Is this your girlfriend?" She asked after they took their picture.

"Oh, no, just a friend," he chuckled nervously.

"I'm Saige. Nice to meet you," I introduced myself.

"No way! You're Saige? You're even more beautiful than Wesley described in that interview," she said. Interview? Me? I shot him a confused look.

"Yeah, we have to go, I'll see you around. Thanks for the support," he quickly said, moving me along. I couldn't help but wonder what she was even talking about.

"What was she talking about?" I asked him.

"I don't know to be honest," he answered quickly. I didn't believe him. I know he's not telling the truth, but I've learned over the years that when he doesn't want to tell you something, you don't push him. I continued looking for something to wear, and I found a really cute outfit. It showed off just enough skin, but not too much cleavage.

"What about this one?" I asked Wesley while walking out of the fitting rooms. He look me up and down, something I'd never seen him do before, and when he smiled, I knew it was the one.

"Don't drool," I teased, making him blush. I changed back into my other clothes and paid for my outfit. We then went to a couple stores down and started shopping for snacks and drinks. Drew is taking care of the alcoholic beverages since we aren't exactly old enough yet. We got about a full cart of stuff.
