Wesley's POV

"Where are we going?" She asked, bursting into a laugh.

"I know a place," I assured her.

"Is it far? I hate walking far in sandals," she complained, big surprise. Saige is one of the biggest complainers I know, but I'm used to it. Plus I find it kind of cute.

"Hop on," I instructed, bending down a little for her to get on my back. She jumped on and let out a giggle while I tried to catch my balance. Where we were going wasn't very far. It's only about a mile away.

"Are we going where I think we're going?" Saige whispered in my ear, making it tingle. She knows how to mess with me, and it kills me.

"I don't know, guess you'll have to see," I teased.

"I'll have to see, huh," she whispered seductively, purposely leaving her breath lingering on my skin.

"Yeah, you will," I said seriously. I'm not giving in to her teasing moves because I know she gets so much satisfactory out of it.

We, well I, finally walked to our destination. She hopped off of my back and looked around in amazement, pulling me to different stands and games.

"I love this carnival," she exclaimed, making me chuckle.

"Me too," I grinned. We rode rides, ate food, played games, and laughed, a lot. The last ride of the night we saved for the sunset. It was calming, and it was a perfect way to end our day. We got on the ferris wheel and got locked into our seats.

She scooted particularly close to me, and it's the first time in forever where she's making the moves tonight. She's slipped kisses on my cheek, held my hand, and now she's sitting close to me. I'm not complaining, of course. I kind of like it. I can tell by the way she's looking at me that she wants something.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"No," she sighed. There obviously is.

"Yes there is," I said.

"I'm fine," she smiled, but it wasn't her real one. I think I know what will brighten her up. We got to the top, and as we slowly came to a stop so others could get on, I looked at her, leaning on my shoulder.

"Saige," I started.

"Yeah?"

"So, we've known each other for a long time now, and you've known that I really like you, right?" Obviously she did. You told her, dumb ass. She nodded.

"Do you want to go on a real date Saturday?" I asked.

"I was hoping this was a real date," she smiled.

"Me too, but that wasn't really the question," I nervously said. I don't know why I'm so nervous to ask her to be my girlfriend.

"What?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I blurted out quietly.

"I thought you'd never ask," she giggled.

"You're so cute," I chuckled along with her. I tilted her chin up towards mine when she smiled up at me. I gave her a long passionate kiss, one that made me feel like time stopped for a moment.

"I've been waiting to do that forever," I admitted.

"Me too," she said. We finished our ride, smiles all around. We started walking home since it was growing dark. When we did get to her house, Mari and Drew were waiting for us, angry, but not.

"Where did you two go?"

"Um, the carnival," Saige innocently said.

"Why didn't you tell us you didn't want to come? We only did it to get you two together," Drew rolled his eyes.

"That teaches you not to mess with our relationship," I said. Wait, they didn't know we were dating.

"Relationship?" Mari asked, smirking.

"No- I mean, uh," I stuttered.

"It was bound to happen, just leave us alone," Saige piped in. They all did their teasing and what not. They knew we were going to date, and they had to egg it on.

"Okay, okay. We get it. I'm tired, so goodnight Drew, goodnight Mari," Saige said. She turned to me and motioned for me to go out to the living room.

"If you want to stay, you can," she insisted.

"I would love to, but I have to get up early tomorrow and go to the studio with the boys. You could come with us maybe," I suggested.

"Nah, I don't want to ruin your guy time. Anyways, thanks for an amazing day. I had a lot of fun."

"Me too, goodnight, Saige," I whispered, kissing her on the cheek. She pulled me in for a hug before I turned to leave. I waved before closing the front door. What an amazing day I had. I'm so glad I can finally call Saige mine.
