Chapter 16 'Date'

Saige's POV

"Are you ready for our date tonight?"

"Of course. Where are we going?"

"Well, that's for you to find out," he mischievously grinned, making me want to slap him. He always does that. It's a surprise, he says. You'll like it, he says. I hope I like this one, but as long as he's there, it should be enjoyable.

"I should go home for awhile, so no one suspects things. Plus I feel kinda bad I haven't spent a lot of time with Mari."

"She's busy with Drew, too, you know? And they're probably doing what they suspect we're doing. I already know they're having sex."

"Did he tell you that?"

"Uh, duh. It's what guys do," he chuckled. I wouldn't want anyone ever talking about that to another guy. I would never tell anyone, even Mariana. It's something private, and it's kind of weird that guys talk about it openly.

"That's weird. Do you tell him when you're having sex with a girl?" I think I put him on the spot. He didn't know whether to tell me the truth, or make me feel like he wouldn't tell.

"I mean, in the past, yeah, but I haven't even had a girl for awhile, so things could change, who knows?" I chuckled at his response.

"How long has it been, champ? The Wesley I remember would only go a few weeks," I laughed. I seem to always be laughing around Wesley.

"You'd be surprised to hear I haven't been with a girl since I left Sequim," he proudly said. I didn't believe it one bit.

"You're such a damn liar," I challenged.

"Oh, am I? Prove it," he challenged back.

"Where's Keaton?"

"Uh, you know, I'm not sure. Think he went to Tyler's, but you should leave them alone."

"Exactly."

"It was one time. She was a dancer on xFactor, and it honestly meant nothing," he defensively held up his hands.

"I knew it! I know you too well."

"What about you? You have someone other than Elijah?"

"Nope, and don't even ask because no, we never had sex. That's probably why he cheated on me." This made me wonder if Wesley would be the same. I know he's quick to jump into relationships, at least he used to be. Should I be worried?
