Xander soon came over, stretching. "Okay, let's go gather the wood.", he said. I nodded slowly and went into the forest, quite a bit away from the others. We looked around for a long time, tho found only twigs at first.
Xander was growing very frustrated at some point and went to a random tree, climbing it. I paused a bit and watched, never really having seen that he even could climb.
He sat down on a sturdy enough branch and got out his knife, putting it to a thinner twig. I let out a heavy sigh. "Babe, no."
Xander looked at me. "What do you mean, no? It's wood, it burns.", he protested and made a deep cut into the wood. I rubbed over my head. "Xander. Stop.", I said. He sighed and pulled away. "What is it this time?"
"Touch the wound."
He raised an eyebrow. "Wound?", he asked. "The cut you just made. It's a wound.", I explained.
He looked at me slightly confused before touching the cut he made, flinching at the sticky and wet wood before pulling away. "Ewww...", he muttered and tried to clean it off.
"The tree is still alive. Wet wood doesn't burn as good, and it creates a thick smoke trail. Old wood doesn't, and...", I explained, breaking one of the twigs. "It's fully dry, that way it burns significantly better."
He watched in surprise. "How do you know that?", he asked. I smiled. "I have made campfires before. Also I didn't know that until Nightmare showed me.", I chuckled. He nodded and jumped back off of the tree, coming over. We continued on our way while he put the knife away. "Why are there so little dry twigs tho?", he asked eventually. I shrugged a small bit. "Could be that we have some beavers around here. If there's a river, then yeah." He nodded. "Yeah, I heard water nearby earlier on.", he said.
"That explains it then."
He nodded and took my hand softly. I held his too, a bit calmer than before. "Do you think we'll find Notch?", Xander eventually asked, a bit worried. I stopped and looked at him, staying quiet for a long time. He looked at me quite hopeless, uneasy. I sighed and put a hand on his cheek. Quite the difficult task, he was a lot taller than me.
"We will find him. I'm sure of that. But I believe that we'll find something else too, something we might not enjoy as much.", I replied gently. He nodded and hugged me. I kept him close, nuzzling him softly in order to have him calm down.
This question wasn't easy to answer, especially not when you're constantly being the person everyone has hope in or whatever. You can't even imagine how many times I have heard this exact question, and that BEFORE Jay wanted to go on his mission!
I ain't a comfort character, bitches, so buckle up for absolute shite to happen, you'll most likely get injured and die, while I can do nothing to prevent this!
I hadn't even noticed that I showed how upset I was, so it confused me even more when Xander suddenly and very gently pulled me into a kiss.
I paused a bit, but then slowly melted into it, relaxing. He ran a hand down my back before going back up to my shoulder blades. I had to squeak and pull away when he started gently caressing the spot where my shoulder blades connected to my wings.
That spot was, amongst a few others, the most sensitive spot of all times. And Xander was aware, sneaking a hand down to my tail. He ran a finger over it, and I had to hide in his chest, biting my lower lip.
Not now, please, for the love of god, not now...
Xander kept going, soon giggling when I squirmed a bit in his arms. By now it was too late, my body showed a much stronger reaction to those caresses than I previously had hoped.
Damn my incubus roots.
I shivered slightly before letting out a shaky breath and breaking the embrace, trying to hide my "problem" with my shirt. "W-We should get going.", I stuttered out, hiding my face. I could feel his eyes on me before he approached me again. "You are saying no to me, darling?", he purred. I hesitated and glanced at him. "I-I am, I don't really want to do this in the middle of the forest, Xander.", I tried to explain before yelping when he pinned me hard against a tree. The impact was strong enough to make me see stars for a few moments, so I didn't notice that Xander got out a rope and tied my hands together. I only did notice when he lead the rope through my collar so my arms were almost unusable.
I teared up a bit, hating this. "X-Xander stop, I didn't give you my consent...", I tried to reason, but he took me by my throat and kept me against the tree while he tightened the rope a lot more, ensuring I can't free myself.
"I don't need you're consent, Jubilea.", Xander replied, and at that point I lost all hope that this was a joke.
I let out a shaky breath before trying to yell for the others, but he covered my mouth, placing a dagger on my lap. "You better not, slut, otherwise I'm cutting your dick off.", he warned me, pissed.
I whimpered in fear, staring at him. I hated this, this brought back memories I wish I never had. The others had no clue what was going on, they were under the assumption that we were looking for wood.
I could swear that there was a person in the trees behind Xander, but couldn't make them out because he moved further down now, the tip of the blade still dangerously close to my pride.
All I could do was beg whatever being up there was listening so that the others would get suspicious and come search for us.
This isn't the Xander I know and love, this is wrong. And yet I couldn't try and bring him back, not in this predicament.
I closed my eyes and accepted my fate, trembling and crying.
