Max's expression softened, his gaze fixed on Nath as he took in the words. There was a sincerity in Nath’s voice that struck him, and for the first time, he wondered about the depths of Nath's feelings—things he’d never asked about before.

Max: I get that. Sometimes, waiting for the right person is harder than just rushing into things🗨. I think I’ve been running from it for a while. “Max said quietly, his voice thoughtful”

For a moment, the conversation seemed to hang in the air, the rain outside almost giving a sense of calm that reflected the stillness in their exchange🌧. Leo, sensing the shift in atmosphere, cleared his throat, keeping his focus on the road.

Max: I didn't expect it to rain this much. “Max sighed, running a hand through his disheveled hair again. His voice tinged with a quiet exhaustion”

Nath: It’s kind of perfect, don’t you think ? The rain... it’s like the world is washing away everything that’s been weighing on us. It feels peaceful 🌸. “Nath smiled softly”

Leo: Mr. Natha... you talk like you're searching for something. “Leo glanced briefly at Nath through the rearview mirror 👀”

Nath: Maybe I am. Aren’t we all, in some way? We search for answers, for peace... or just something different. “Nath's eyes lingered on the rain for a moment longer, his mind turning over the complexities of what had led him here”

Max: And you think you’ll find that by coming with me to my hometown 😶 ? “Max shifted in his seat, turning his head slightly toward Nath”

Nath: I don't know, maybe I’ll find something, maybe I won’t😌. But there’s something about getting away from the noise... about being somewhere that doesn’t have any expectations. Just a quiet place to breathe🧘🏻‍♂. “Nath admitted quietly ”

Leo smiled faintly, his fingers tapping lightly against the steering wheel. He wasn’t one to speak much, but he understood the need for change, the desire to step away from it all. The rain made everything feel more intimate, as though the world had pressed pause, leaving them suspended in this fleeting moment of shared silence.

Max: Well, you’re certainly romanticizing it. But... I get it. I think I need a little of that too. Some space to breathe, without all the noise of the world🌏. “Max let out a small laugh, the sound unexpectedly warm”

Nath's heart fluttered at Max’s words💖, something soft and uncertain growing in him. He wasn’t sure what this trip would bring—whether it would change things between them or leave everything exactly as it was. But at that moment, as the rain beat gently against the car, something felt right about being with Max. There was a strange, undeniable pull in the air, and Nath couldn’t help but feel it.

Max leaned back in his seat, closed his eyes, and Nath couldn't help but watch him. The rain created a soft reflection of the car’s lights on the window, making Max's features look like they belonged to a figure in a dream, hazy and blurred. Nath’s breath caught in his throat for a moment, and he quickly turned his gaze to the window, feeling a heat rise in his cheeks 😳.

Leo: Mr. Natha, you okay back there 🤨 ?Leo’s voice broke through the stillness”

Nath: Yeah, just... lost in thought💫. “Nath blinked, his thoughts jostled by the question. He replied, his voice quieter than usual”
