The call with Neth ended📱, and Nath let out a long, exhausted sigh as he leaned back in his chair. His fingers tapped lightly on the armrest as he tried to gather his thoughts. He had managed to get the rest he needed, but there was still one thing left to do—the box🎁. The orange box he had prepared for Max, filled with carefully selected perfumes, was still waiting to be delivered.

Nath’s thoughts drifted back to Max—that sweet, disarming smile😊 he had seen earlier. Nath couldn’t stop replaying that smile over and over in his head. His heart still fluttered💓 whenever he thought about it, and the idea of seeing Max again made him feel both nervous and excited. Why did Max have to be the one person who could twist Nath’s emotions into knots so effortlessly ?

The pop-up store event had launched successfully✨, drawing a large crowd eager to experience the exclusive fragrances by Natha Ethan Jace. The power Natha held just by showing up was overwhelming—his presence alone captivated everyone. The atmosphere was filled with support, and the guests remained gracious throughout, without causing any chaos. After the event, Leo immediately drove Natha home to help him prepare for their upcoming getaway trip.

Nath: Finally... I can breathe a little.

Leo: Mr. Natha, I... I’ve never seen you act this way before. You’re pushing yourself really hard, aren’t you ?

Leo’s voice carried a soft edge of worry, more for Nath’s well-being than anything else.

Nath shook his head, brushing off the comment. The exhaustion from the long day was starting to weigh on him, but he wasn’t ready to slow down just yet.

Nath: I’ll be fine😀, Leo. Just get the clothes ready.

Leo moved to the wardrobe and began pulling out a few options for the trip—something casual, yet stylish✨ enough for the unexpected rendezvous. He returned with Nath’s clothes, neatly packed and ready. He looked at Nath expectantly, waiting for his next instruction.

Nath stood by the window, his gaze fixed on the fountain⛲ outside the mansion, though his mind was elsewhere. His thoughts were consumed by Max, by the words left unsaid, and the lingering confusion from their earlier encounter. Those smiles—those damn smiles—continued to haunt him, pulling at him in ways he couldn’t quite understand.

Leo, sensing Nath’s need for space, remained silent for a moment before speaking gently.

Leo: Mr. Natha, everything’s ready. You’ll be able to leave whenever you’re set. I’ll be waiting for you in the car.

Leo took the luggage🧳 containing Nath’s clothes and turned to leave, giving Nath the time he needed to collect himself.

Nath didn’t respond immediately. Instead, he continued to stare out the window, his mind💭 racing as he tried to make sense of everything. The pull between his duties, his emotions, and the weight of the day was beginning to collide in a way he hadn’t anticipated.

Nath: Thanks, Leo. Let’s just get going. The sooner I can leave this city, the better🌌.

As they drove🚘 through the streets, the city lights🏙 casting fleeting reflections across the windows, Nath felt a sense of calm wash over him. The urgency from earlier had dissipated, replaced by a new sense of clarity.

Lately, he had been caught up in the rush of the event, the expectations, the stress💢... As the minutes passed, Nath felt a deep sense of gratitude for this fleeting moment of peace. The constant demands of his life had left little room for self-care, and now, in this quiet space, he realized just how much he had been neglecting his own well-being.

It wasn’t just about escaping the chaos💫—it was about reconnecting with who he truly was, beyond the obligations and pressures that had consumed him. He knew this was a turning point, a reminder that he needed to prioritize himself more often.

They arrived at Rainbowall Café just as the clock struck midnight🌃. The street was quiet, save for the dim glow of the neon sign casting colorful light across the sidewalk.

Nath hesitated for a moment, staring at the café’s windows. He could see faint shadows👤 moving inside—Max must still be there, finishing up for the night. Leo gave Nath a supportive look as they stepped out of the car.

Leo: Mr. Natha, if you need me to wait outside, just let me know.

Nath: I’ll be fine. You can head back to the car after you hand me the box.

Leo nodded, passing Nath the orange box with a knowing look, and Nath made his way toward the door.

When Nath reached the front of the café, he saw a note taped to the door—a two-week notice 🗒 announcing the temporary closing of Rainbowall Café.

Nath stood outside Rainbowall Café, the cool night air biting at his skin. His thoughts were still a swirl of confusion from the day’s events, but the sight of the café brought him back to his focus. He couldn’t hold back his curiosity any longer. He needed answers.

Just then, Max stepped out of the café, looking a bit surprised to see Nath standing in front of the door, an orange box clutched in his delicate, fair hand. Nath’s gaze was fixed on Max, an unspoken question hanging in the air between them. The moment felt frozen, as if the busy world around them had slowed just for that brief exchange.

Max: Nath? What are you doing here this late 😶 ?

Max asked, his voice tinged with surprise. Max blinked in confusion, his brow furrowing as he looked at Nath, wondering if there was something more to this late-night visit.

Nath’s fingers tightened around the orange box🎁 as he tried to gather his thoughts, but Max’s unexpected question had caught him off guard. He quickly recovered, straightening up and forcing a casual smile, hoping to play it cool. But despite his best efforts, his curiosity got the better of him.

Nath: Umm... what about this two-week notice taped to the café door🗒? “He asked, his voice tinged with both confusion and curiosity”

Max glanced at the notice for a moment before looking back at Nath, offering a small, tired smile.

Max: Everyone who works at this café is taking a break... a holiday. We all need a little time to recharge. “His voice carried a hint of finality”

Nath: Really ? Wow... your boss is so nice👍🏻, closing the shop so his employees can take a break. “He let out a soft chuckle, unaware of the deeper implications behind his words”

Max just stood there, a small smile😏 tugging at his lips, his eyes reflecting a hint of amusement. He watched Nath with quiet fondness, remembering how Nath still didn’t know he was the owner of Rainbowall Café. It was a thought that never failed to make Max chuckle inwardly. He enjoyed the moment, wondering how long it would take for Nath to piece🧩 things together.
