Nath: So, where are you going ? “Genuinely curious”

Max: I'm actually heading back to my hometown for a while🏡, just taking some time to rest there. It's been a crazy few months.

Max ran a hand through his hair, the exhaustion visible in his eyes, as though the weight of the last few months was catching up with him all at once.

Nath's heart fluttered at the idea of Max leaving, but he couldn't let it show. He swallowed his emotions and tried to focus on the conversation. Nath hesitating, then asking carefully.

Nath: Max , if you don't mind me asking... would it be alright if I came with you? Coincidentally, I'm also taking some time off, and I've already packed my clothes... just in case if I decide to go on a spontaneous getaway.

Max froze for a moment, clearly caught off guard by the request. Nath's heart raced. Did he say something wrong ? Was Max going to reject him ? The silence stretched on, thick and uncomfortable, as Nath searched Max's face for any hint of his thoughts. Every second felt like an eternity⏳. Finally, Max exhaled, his shoulders relaxing slightly, though the tension in his eyes remained.

Max: You want to come with me😶? To my hometown🏡? “He asked, voice tinged with hesitation”

Nath: Yes, can I 👉🏻👈🏻 ? Not only with me, but Leo also came.

Max: I mean... that's a bit unexpected and Leo too ? “Max looked at Nath, his brow furrowing in uncertainty”

Nath chuckled nervously, trying to play it off.

Max: I don't know... It's not exactly a vacation spot🏝. It's kind of quiet and, well, not much to do. “Max still looked unsure, glancing around as if weighing the situation”

Nath: Hey, that sounds perfect👍🏻. I could really use a change of scenery🌈, and... it might be nice to have some company. I've been stuck in the same routine for so long. A little adventure,... it could be just what I need.

Nath said, his smile widening as he leaned in a little closer. His voice softened, as if trying to convey how much the idea meant to him.

Max: You're not going to let this go, are you🤨? “Max said, shaking his head with a small smile that softened the edges of his reluctance”

Max paused, looking at Nath for a moment, his expression thoughtful. He seemed to weigh the offer carefully, as though considering how it would change things between them.

Nath just smiled, waiting to see whether Max would agree or not. The silence between them was filled with a mix of anticipation and nervous energy. Nath's heart beat faster with each passing second, his gaze never leaving Max, hoping for a sign-any sign-that he might say Yes.

Max: Yes.. alright. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all. I guess you can come. But no promises that it'll be exciting. My place isn't big.

Nath: Really 🥺 ? I don't mind your place, big or not... as long as I can go with you.

Nath's voice softened, a hint of excitement creeping in. He spoke the words with a sincerity that made it clear he wasn't just looking for a place to stay; he was looking for a change, for something more.

Max: You're serious, huh😶? “He asked, there was a warmth in his tone now, less guarded than before”

Nath: Yeah, I am😀. “Nath nodded, his smile unwavering”
