Unforgettable

      Swathi checked Nithya who was sleeping due to her meds. She was more careful and keen on her sister's well being.

" she is alright Swathi.  You better don't spoil your health thinking of her health " Vishak said as he entered the room.

" Shhh maama... Akka is sleeping na and nothing won't happen to me just because I'm taking care of my sister " Swathi said pouting. Vishak flicked her head as she said out those words.

" you are the most stupidest girl I have even seen " Vishak said to her.

" Sorry to burst your bubble maama Akka is way far from me " she said grinning.

" maybe that's right but don't ever tell Nithya that I said such thing about her " Vishak said in a whisper.

" Pinky promise maama I won't even breath out about this " she answered in whisper.

" what are you both whispering " Dev asked as he saw them whispering while entering the room.

" I was thinking of getting you married to Ishu " Swathi said smiling widely to which Dev glared at her and moved towards Nithya.

" Why are you glaring at her Dev.... she said the right thing..... you should marry Ishu...."

" So she could eat off my brains " Dev finished Vishak's sentence cutting him in the middle.

" oh... so you really have brain...  I thought you sold it to someone " Swathi said to Dev which was getting him irritated.

" Do you know maama Ishu doesn't even  fail to express her feelings at every chance she gets" Swathi said to Vishak.

" I'm not ready for a relationship " Dev said as he checked Nithya who was sound asleep .

" Don't worry we will work on your relationship " Swathi said grinning.

" Says the one who doesn't even accept her own husband " Dev said looking straight into her eyes.

" Asshole " Swathi said looking at him . Dev was gaping at her while Vishak tried to control his laugh.

" what's there to laugh " Swathi asked turning towards Vishak to which he shook his head negatively.

" I'm trying to maintain cordial relationship and I need time .... " Swathi said to Dev.

" Come to mend my relationship once  you mend yours " Dev spatted at her.

" That hit straight into her heart " she said as Dev left. Swathi followed him behind smiling.

" why don't you give her a chance " Swathi asked him.

" I will once you give it to your husband " Dev said patting her cheek. He left Swathi in her thoughts.

At night Swathi got her periods. She knew well that the first day that too at night would be so painful.  She saw Vishal sleeping peacefully on the bed.

Now a day they use to sleep on the same bed on their respective side. For them its a very big development.  She laid on the other side hoping that the pain wouldn't be so hard this time.

But she was wrong night at 1 her pain increased and she couldn't bare it. It was so painful that she groaned in low voice not to disturb Vishal.  She tried many ways to ease away her pain but no avail.

Vishal woke up to the restless moments beside him.He saw Swathi trying different positions to ease away her pain. He understood the right moment that she is on her periods. He took the bottle which had hot water beside him. He poured it on a glass.

" Here have it " Vishal said to Swathi.  Her eyes were totally red. She took the water and drank it slowly.

" lay down Swathi " he said to her.

" Its painful..."  she whimpered a little. He holded her and made her lay on the bed.

" who am I Swathi " Vishal asked her

" Vishal ... " she said Closing her eyes tightly in pain

" who am I to you Swathi " he asked her again. She hissed in pain holding her stomach.

" My husband " she mumbled.  Vishal smiled at her words.

" Open your eyes and look at me " he said to which she obeyed. He slowly placed his hands under her top on her bare skin. Her eyes  widened.... her breathing stopped....

" Look its still me.... breath out " he repeated his words to which she started breathing slowly.  He drawed circles on her stomach with her palm while she looked at his eyes.

" what.... what are you doing " she stammered as she came back to her senses.

" Skin contact could reduce your stomach pain... so just relax and try to sleep " he said smiling at her. 

Soon sleep took over her as kept kept massaging her stomach.  He slept looking at her with a small smile on his face....
