Jordan's POV

January 2ndTrigger warning!!🚨
I've been tossing and turning all night. Part of the reason is because this room is freezing but Gabby was sweating like crazy last night.
The other part I don't really know.
She just wanted a window open.
The pollen is definitely threatening the state of my sinuses but anything for her to be comfortable.
I turn over in efforts to pull her closer to me, only to be met with an empty bed. I wipe the sleep from my eyes and sit up straight.
The bathroom light is on so I still, waiting for her to return. I listen but I hear nothing. It's way too silent.
I lift the sheet and...
What the hell?
No.
So much blood.
Her muffled cries echo from the bathroom. Then her shaky voice.
"Jordan," she calls. Her words don't even register before I'm in my feet and headed towards the bathroom. I swing the door open and everything in me goes numb.
I don't even know how to make another step.
She looks up at me and then back between her spread legs where blood drips.
"Jordan...the baby," she cries. I freeze trying to piece together the image before me. The worst things blur my thought process.
"Jordan, please. The baby," she shouts once more, snapping me out of my trance. My heart sinks, seeing the very vision I had imagined over and over again since our first doctors appointment.
Complete deja vu.
I move towards her and assess her body. I'm scared to touch her.
"Wh-what..What's wrong, Gabby. What happened?" I ask. She shakes her head.
"I don't know. I felt a pain and got up. There's so much blood, Jordan, my baby," she cries waiting for my assistance.
I take her arm and put it around my neck before scooping her into my arms. I move hastily down the stairs. She squirms know my arms as I do, making my feet move swiftly beneath me to relieve her pain.
Her cries fill the car with heartbreak as panic fills my body.
"We're almost there, Baby. I'm sorry but you got to hold on for me," I tell her taking the exit off the highway.
She clenches her jaw and squeezes her eyes shut.
This can't be happening right now.
The twenty minute hospital drive turned into seven. Calling an ambulance only comes to mind once I see the line of them before the hospital.
She lets out a deep breath once the front doors are in sight. I know she can't wait any longer.
I pull over in front of the doors and run to the paramedics I spot close to the entrance.
"Please, help me...my girlfriend. She's pregnant and she's bleeding. I need you to hurry," I explain in a panic. They follow behind me as I rush back over to her.
I open the door and look into her frightened stare. I put her arms around me and scoop her out.
The paramedics help me put me onto the gurney. My heart is beating out of my chest.
