32/Quit babysitting me.

We walk into our house after Katherine pulls up and no one's home. "Of course! No one is home!" I yell and push over a bowl of fruit on the kitchen island.

"Jo." Katherine grits.

I shake my head and run upstairs. I take my bow out and I take off my cheer uniform and just put on a pair of leggings and a grey t-shirt.

I'm so angry and hurt, I can't explain this feeling. I've been hurt by my parents but by a boy? Never been hurt like this before and this sucks badly. He got what he wanted, to hurt me and well he sure as hell did it. Him saying all the bullshit lies 'I won't hurt you' is complete bullshit! All he does is hurt me.

"Jo.." Katherine says walking in wearing her all black outfit and black leather jacket.

"What?" I say sitting at my vanity taking my mascara off and she stands behind me. "You absolutely can not let this affect you, he's stupid and more importantly he's a man. Whom you don't need. Mind as well go after woman, they're better in some ways." she shrugs.

I nod slowly and then throw my wipes away, "I don't know what I see in him. I don't know why I keep thinking he's honest when he says things." I stand up and then turn back around to her. "You've been with a woman?" I raise my eyebrow and he tries to hide her smile. "What!!!" I yell smiling.

"It's not a big deal but, I have been experiencing my sexuality a lot recently and I think I am pansexual but please don't tell mom and dad and don't make it into something huge." she shrugs and I hug her. "Of course I won't tell a soul. I'm happy for you!" I say and she smiles.

I get a ring on my phone and it's Mercy.

"Hello?"

"Are you coming to the party? If not Ian, Morgan, Felix and maybe Jack were all going to chill at my place and you're welcome to come and bring Katherine." she says.

"I know I'm not coming to the party. I'll talk to Katherine." I say and she says okay and hangs up.

"Mercy is having people over and said we can go over if we want because I refuse to step foot in that damn frat house." I say plopping down on the end of my bed and she sits next to me. "Are you there a lot?"

"Where? The frat house?" I ask and she nods and I just lay back and stare at the ceiling.

"Yeah, everyone there is surprisingly nice and that's where I met Alex and TJ. The people I've met who live there aren't assholes." I laugh and she sighs. "Well you haven't met everyone who lives there have you?"

"Well no-"

"Trust no one." she sighs and leans back as well. "I do think you should go to Mercy's though, it's all your friends and there won't be any drama. They know nothing and I'm sure it will get things off your mind." she adds.

"Will you go?" I ask sitting up.

"No, I'm going to have a few friends over. Mom and Dad are supposedly away for the weekend but who knows." she stands up and shrugs. Yeah they are both probably not together and doing god knows what! I'm sick of this, why has my life gone to shit recently?

My parents suddenly disappearing, me losing my boyfriend, my faith, losing myself and then there's Hero.

I've changed drastically and I don't know if I like it. Sometimes change is a good thing but my mindset is slightly changed and maybe Kat was right when she said I am not who I used to be.

"Oh okay, will you drop me off?" I ask and she nods and grabs her keys and I throw on a grey hoodie and a tight white tank top under it.

Once I arrive at Mercy's I walk in and Jack, Morgan, Felix, Ian and Mercy are all sitting on the couch and Mercy jumps up and hugs me and I laugh. "Hi." she says and I laugh, "Hi."
