44/Happy Birthday.

I squirm when I feel a body hover over me and begins planting kisses all of my face. "Happy Birthday!" Hero yells and I cover my face with my hands he begins kissing my hands and I laugh. It's early, way too damn early for all this, but it's adorable.

"Get up!" he yells and gets off me and grabs my hand. He pulls me out of bed and begins hugging me. "How do you feel to be 17?" he asks.

"Great." I say sarcastically and yawn.

"Come on," he says pulling my hand out the door.

I'm in his black and red plaid pajama pants and a black white fitted long sleeve. My hair is probably a mess, I look a mess. He's pulling me down the stairs and I walk into the kitchen and all the guys yell. "Happy Birthday Jo!" they yell and I cover my mouth with my hands. This is so sweet.

There is balloons all downstairs and in the kitchen and there's 3 chocolate chip pancakes stacked worth strawberries and whipped cream. Along with a candle lit.

"Come on, sit down and blow it out!" TJ yells and I smile and come sit down. "This is so sweet guys." I look around. Who knew guys in a frat house were this sweet, not me for sure.

I blow out the candles and they all laugh. "Here you go." Hero says walking over with a strawberry milkshake. "I made it, I don't know how good it is though." he laughs and I jump up and hug him. "This is so nice guys." I say and they laugh. "We know you're staying with us for a couple days so, it's your birthday and we want you to feel welcomed." Alex says.

"I honestly don't know who you are but Happy Birthday." Issac says and walks up stairs and I laugh. "I got class, I'll catch y'all." Alex says and waves bye. TJ and another guy leave and Hero sits next to me. "Try your milkshake." he says and I do just that. It's so good, it's sweet but good.

"It's really sweet, but good." I laugh and he grabs my face for a kiss. I kiss him back.

Here he is, trying again.

It's amazing when he's like this, I feel so appreciated by him but when all hell breaks loose, this will all be over.

"I am trying for you, I hope you know that." he says placing his hand on my thigh, it's like he read my mind. I look at his hand on me and then back up to him. "I know, we have so much to work on for ourselves though-" I begin.

"We need each other, don't convince yourself otherwise." he says and I nod and finish eating my food as he helps me finish it.

I walk into school with black jean skirt, tights, white sweater and my black boots. Curled hair, and little makeup.

"Happy Birthday Beautiful!" Mercy says hugging me as we are standing in the hallway inside by the door because it's freezing outside. "Hi, thank you." I smile.

"I guess you aren't staying with me?" she questions and laughs.

"Kat keeps paying for the motel so I feel bad not going, it's fine. I appreciate your offer though." I smile.

"Can I ask tell you something crazy?" she says and I nod.

"Jack came up to me and said he saw you and Hero come to school this entire week, he told me that right before you walked in here." she laughs. "I thinks he's going insane." she laughs running her hand through her red hair.

"What?" I laugh awkwardly. Damnit.

Of course it's Jack, always having to be nosy and say something to Mercy.

"Just want to let you know, that is not true, and I think yesterday he was walking near me when I walked to the school doors so, if he's going off of that, he's trying to start stuff." I say and shake my head. "I walked here all week!" I yell and laugh.
