Josephine
"Make a choice? What!?" he yells as I am half asleep as it's six in the morning. I told him what she said a minute ago, when he begged me to tell him.
"Hero, it's early please. Let me sleep." I say.
"School?" he questions.
"I'm not going." I say and shove my face into the pillow. "Fuck you aren't." he says and pulls me by my waist.
"Heroooo." I groan.
"You can't let my crazy ass sister stop you from going to school, that's ridiculous." he says and I turn my head to look at him. "I feel like I got in the middle of your guys relationship." I say and he sits up. "No, don't think that. She's been an asshole to begin with." he says.
"You were an asshole to her first." I laugh and he pushes a piece of hair behind my ear. "Just lets go, ignore her. Who cares about her?" he asks.
"Sadly I do." I say.
"Sleep for another 20 minutes?" I ask and he laughs pulling me towards him.
"You look nice." Hero says as we're walking into school. I have a brown long sleeve on and jeans, with a black jacket, it's freezing here.
"You're aunt is okay with us moving in together?" he asks as I open my locker. "I mean I told her what I was doing and she said best of luck and she'll be there for me when I need her." I say.
"I like her." he says. "She's better than your fucking mother." he says and I push his arm. "Hey, I know that."
He throws his arms up, "Sorry."
"FT, man. Are we cool?" Tyrell says coming up to him and leaning on his shoulder. "Yeah man, sorry. I should of told you she was my girlfriend." Hero says and Tyrell eyes go wide. "Y'all were dating when her and I smoked?" he asks.
"Technically no, we were going through some shit but she was still mine, that's why I flipped. Sorry." he says and they do that little bro hug thing, does that even have a name?
"It's cool, sorry. I ain't know, maybe once I get a girlfriend we all can smoke together!" he yells and laughs.
"Sure-" I begin before Hero cuts me off.
"Absolutely not." he says and grits at me and then smiles.
Tyrell laughs, "I'll catch you guys later?" he says and I nod and Hero nods too.
I shut my locker.
"Josephine." Jess says popping out of no where and Hero walks in front of me. "We don't need to hear your stubborn bullshit Jess, no one wants to hear you talk even." Hero says and I push him. "Jess, what?" I ask.
"I'm sorry.," she says and I raise my eyebrow. Sorry? She's sorry for what?
"For?"
"I said Bold move when you guys walked into school togehter yesterday, I realized Mercy is definitely overreacting and love is love!" she yells and I nod slowly. "Okay.." I don't know, Jess is still stuck up.
"Okay bye-" Hero begins about to grab my hand and Jess stops us again, "Wait." she says.
"Don't hide each other." she says and I'm confused. "Don't hide each other?" I ask.
"Sorry, what I mean is, be happy in public and I know you guys were hiding for so long don't hide anymore!" she claps and Hero grabs my hand, "We aren't Jess, thanks." he says and walks away.
"I don't like her." he says.
"Me either." I say.
"I don't hide you do I?" he asks.
