Josephine

"Do you want to talk about it?" he asks.

I look at him, "I don't even know you." I say.

He has light brown hair and a little mustache.
He looks like he is maybe in high school but I don't know, nor do I care to really ask.

"I don't know you, but you seem upset and If you want to talk about it I'm here." he says and I look at him and don't say anything as I begin drinking my frozen lemonade he bought me as he brought over some chick fil a. Who the hell even is this man.

"Listen, wouldn't you rather talk to some random ass dude who doesn't know anyone or anything you're talking about, than someone who knows the person and who could easily tell them. Don't trust anyone." he says and I sigh as I eat some fries.

"Well, my ex boyfriend or boyfriend or whatever he is just left to go to london and I was supposed to go with him and I missed my damn flight! That was so expensive and I can not afford another ticket and now I'm thinking maybe it was a sign for us not to be together." I spit out and he nods slowly.

He drinks some of his iced tea, "How long were you guys together? he asks.

"We've been on and off for about six, seven months. He hurt me a lot but I don't even know if I hurt him I might of. We're a mess but I haven't seen him in three months then I saw him this weekend and decided to move to London with him.." I say and he looks at me and laughs.

"Ouch, you decided to randomly move this weekend? You have no clue what he's doing up in London you need to wait and get his trust back if he hurt you." he says.

"I guess you are right." I sigh.

"I know." he raises his drink at me and laughs.

"I'm Jayden by the way." he says.

"Josephine." I nod.

"That's a beautiful name." he smiles.

"Thank you." I nod.

"So besides this, what do you like to do?"

Oh?

"Read, sleep, I did cheer, I have been traveling a lot-" I begin.

"Cheer? I'm a competitive cheer coach, I can definitely get you in." he says.

"What?" I say

"You heard me." he smirks at me.

"That would be great, oh wow. Down here? In seattle?" I ask.

"Yep." he says. "A beautiful girl like you doesn't deserve to be upset, you have too much life to live then be sad over a damn guy, come on now." he says and I look at him confused.

"Are you gay?" I ask.

"Excuse me?" he laughs.

"I'm sorry, no guy would ever say that!" I laugh.

"I am certainly not gay!" he says and I laugh. We continue eating and we just talk. "What do you like to do?" I ask.

"Work, I go on runs a lot, I am okay at cooking but I also smoke a lot of cigarettes though." he shrugs. "Smoking is bad for you." I laugh.

"I'm aware. Josephine." he laughs.

"Call me Jo."

"I am very much aware Jo." he laughs again and I smile and then I'm confused when his thumb suddenly goes under my eye and wipes it.

"Makeup running down your face." he says and wipes his hand on the napkin. "Thanks." I smile, he's really nice, he seems like he'd be a great friend and someone to smile or have fun with. Damn, I really need that.
