Three weeks later.

It's january 25th, and being in Georgia has been nothing but great. I've been doing my school work online, I got a job at the country club with Mia and I have been getting decent money, I started working on Thursdays as well instead of just fridays and saturday's because I want to get enough money to pay Mia's mom back for all the airport trips and stuff. I'm trying to start working wednesday's as well, I need to work as much as I can.

I blocked his number too, I don't really have social media so I blocked him on whatever I had.

We have done a lot, we get ice cream like twice a week and we're always watching mason. Mia and I are both doing school work from home so it's great, but Hero. Alex has called me a couple times asking how I am and he said Hero's been living at our apartment. He said he barely sees Hero so he doesn't know what he's doing and not like I care, I don't care what he does at all.

"Jo?" she comes up to me and she's on the phone.

I'm cooking pasta right now for dinner. Mason is waiting and so is Abby, Mia has to catch up on some school work so I would cook tonight. It's thursday night and I'm feeling good. I got a nice tan going as well.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"Someone's on the phone, they said it's for you." she says and I look at her confused and walk over and grab the phone from her and she sits back down at the island. "Hello?" I say into the phone.

"Josephine." Hero says into the phone.

"How the fuck did you get Mia's number!" I scream. Sorry my for my language god but that's the most least thing I've done these last months. I really need to go to church.

Badly.

"I looked everywhere, took me about a week." he says. "I'm hanging up-" I begin and he screams into the phone. "No!"

"Hero, you left me. I wanted to stay together but you left me and Georgia has been doing great things for me so far and I'm staying longer, real long." I say and he groans.

"It's about to be february, valentine's day is coming and I want to see you." he says and I laugh, is he serious?

"I'm hanging up." I say.

"Jo. No." he says.

"I blocked you for a reason, you left me for your reason and that's that. We're done and I'm sorry about the apartment I'll give you money, or anything you need for it. But, I'm not being with you and when I come back, I sure as hell am not living with you either." I say and place the phone down on speaker hearing to see what he says next, I need to finish mixing this sauce.

"I'm sorry, I was angry and you wanted to leave me first!" he yells. "Who's that?" Abby asks.

"Who's that?" Hero asks through the phone.

"Mia's little sister." I say. "I have a lot to do right now, I'm cooking her dinner and you're calling me saying this and that and I'm done." I say.

"I'm trying to change." he's says. "I really am, I got a job. I've been living at the apartment and I haven't gone to a bar since that day. I promise you Jo I am really trying to change for you." he adds.

That's what I mean. "I want you to change for yourself, not for me."

"Everything I fucking do is for you!" he yells. "Everything!" he yells.

"I love you and I love you too much to let you treat me like this. We do good for so long and then all hell breaks loose and everything goes down hill." I say.
