BECKY'S POV

Meet me at the old warehouse in an hour. - A.

I cripple the note into my pocket as I walk up to the entrance of the dark, abandoned building. I found the note setting on my doorstep when I took the trash out.

I saw Austin earlier. He said he was doing something with his friends. Why would he want to see me?

Maybe they canceled or something.

That would only make sense if it actually was Austin who left the note.

I shiver at the thought of someone besides Austin requesting my presence at a creepy building like this. I nearly turn around to walk back to the bus station before I see another note on a brick far away from the door. I cautiously walk over to it.

Press me.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. I look at the brick and I notice indentions around it. It looked kind of like a button. Risking looking like a complete fool I press the brick. A keypad is then placed before me. I huff in annoyance at the combination put before me. I check the note from the brick and additional information is penned on the back.

You came into the world on this day.

Does he mean my birthday?

I press my birth date in and to my surprise a part of a nearby wall opens up. I'm in shock at the fact this person used my birth date as the combination.

Maybe it was just a coincidence.

I look back at the parking lot before I step into the building. I hear an echo of music so I decide to follow it. I'm greeted by Lil' Wayne's 'A Milli' as I continue to walk.

"Fuck." I curse at myself when I stumble into a tire.

A tire? Why would there be a tire in the middle of an old warehouse?

I continue my exploration until I discover a part of the warehouse that looks like a mechanic's dream. Different sized tires lined the walls, tool boxes and power tools are scattered around the entire vicinity. Cars are placed all around. Most of them look like they can straight out of a Fast & Furious movie.

I hear a clanking of a tool. I see a figure quickly speed away from the car they were working on. I try to see where the person went, but there's no trace of them.

I hear footsteps and I decide to hide in the back seats of one of the cars.

"Hello?" I hear a familiar voice.

I clamp my hands over my mouth when I realize that the person is near the car I've hidden in.

"You're going crazy, Rob. It was probably just a dog. You know they come around this time of year." I recognize the voice as Alex.

"She was here. I saw her." That's Rob.

"Are you sure?" Alex sighs.

"Yes. I swear on my mother's grave." He says. My heart clenches at the fact that Rob lost his mother.

"Alright." Alex exhales a long breath, clearly annoyed, "Let's look in the cars." He suggests and I internally criticize myself.

Of course they'd check here first.

"This is your last chance to come out right now, before we find you ourselves." Alex warns. I decide to give myself up.

They're harmless. What could they possibly do to me?

I open the car door and stumble out. Coincidentally right in front of Rob and Alex.

"Before you guys kill me. There was this note and it was signed by A so I thought that Aus-" I try to explain myself

"Trigger the intruder alarm and get him." Alex commands Rob. Rob nods his head and sprints to the back.

"W-wait. Alarm?" I ask completely confused. Alex simply points to the ceiling. I look up and I see a blinking light, but I hear no sound.

A silent alarm?

"He's on his way." Rob says and Austin appears with a huge buff man behind him.

"Becky? What are you doing here?" He asks with wide eyes.

"I-I thought you-" I stutter before I'm interuppted by the buff man behind Austin.

"Who is this?" He asks.

"Just a friend." Austin says and looks back at me with his eyes narrowed. Not in anger, but more in confusion.

"Why are you here? How did you even get in here, Becky?" Austin approaches me, I immediately tense up at his tone of voice.

"Someone left a note at my house telling me to come here. So I came on the bus to get here. And when I did another note told me to press a brick, which is really weird by the way, and I did and this keypad-thingy popped out and on the other side of the note it told me to type in my birth date and it actually worked. And then I heard some music so I followed and what do you know I end up here." I laugh nervously at the end.

"You shouldn't be here." Austin says sternly.

"You didn't write the notes?" I ask him.

"Why would I want you here?" He rages. I feel my heart crack at his question.

I should've just stayed home. See? This is exactly why I don't go outside.

"I don't know. I'm sorry. I'll just leave, and forget everything I saw here." I say sadly. I turn around.

"I didn't mean it like that." He says. I continue walking completely ignoring his comment.

"Becky, I said I didn't mean it." He says again and grabs my arm.

"I heard what you said. I shouldn't have come here. You said it yourself I don't belong here." I say bitterly.

"B, don't act like that." He says.

"Like what?" I ask.

"You act-"

"Like what?"

"Like this!" He gestures to me.

"I said I was sorry I came here. What more do you want?" I ask angrily.

"Fine! I tried to talk to you, but you obviously are pmsing right now so you aren't listening." He says. I gasp.

What the fuck?

"You know what! I'm not fucking pmsing. You're the one who has his feelings all fucked up! One second your apologizing then next your snapping at me! I don't know you, Austin. And I don't think I want to know you anymore." I growl. Austin's eyes fill with hurt before they start to burn with anger. His grip on my arm tightens.

"Leave then!" He shouts.

"Thank you! Thank you for allowing me to leave." I say bitterly as I tear my arm out of his grip.

I stalk away from Austin and make my way to the bus station.

I should stay clear from the boys with stars for eyes. They always end up hurting me.

(A/N: so Becky's starting to gain feelings for Austin.
