AUSTIN'S POV
"Becky, you haven't eaten anything all day. Please come out." Sel says to the door. Sel knocks again, but there's no response.
"Nothing?" I ask Sel for clarification.
"Nothing." She confirms. I sigh loudly and trudge my way to the kitchen. Everyone's stuffing their faces with pizza, but Becky's seat is vacant.
"She's not coming out?" Calum asks while munching on his pizza.
"Nope." Sel says while she grabs a slice.
"What happened?" Michael asks me. I look down at my empty plate.
"Yeah, Austin. What happened?" Calum prods.
"Calum." Vanessa frowns.
"What?" Calum spits.
"Shut up, Cal." Vanessa says. I push back my chair and walk towards Becky's room again. I slide down the wall next to the door and stare at the doorknob.
"I'm so sorry, Beck." I whisper to her, "I'm so sorry." I repeat.
BECKY'S POV
"Sebastian." I say to myself, "Sebastian." I repeat.
An image of him flashes through my mind. His dark, and depressing eyes seem to pierce through my head.
"Who are you?" I ask the stranger in front of me.
"You don't know who I am?" He asks me.
"No. Should I?" He starts to fidget with his hands.
"I'm your half-brother." He says, "My name's Sebastian." He looks up at me.
"You're kidding me right?" I laugh.
"I'm not." He says.
"Prove it." I say to him.
"I don't really know how to. You have to believe me Becky." He pleads.
"How do you know my name?" I ask him.
"I told you. I'm your half-brother." He says with desperation in his voice.
"Why didn't my parents mention a brother?" I quiz him.
"I'm not Frank's son." He says, "You think he would even mention me?" He asks, "I'm an accident, I shouldn't even be here. But, I promised mom that I would only contact you if I needed your help." He says, "Please help me." He begs.
"How do I know that you're telling the truth?" I ask.
"Mom always said that you were stubborn." Sebastian reaches into his pocket, "So I brought my birth certificate just in case." He hands me the paper. I stare down at the paper and sure enough he has the same mother as me.
"Why didn't she tell me?" I ask myself. I look back at Sebastian who is nervously looking around, "What do you need help with?" I ask him.
"There are these guys that are trying to kill me, because they think I'm Frank's son. They think I'm going to be his successor of his place in the Company. I didn't want to tell them it is actually you because I thought they'd come after you. Can you help me?" He asks.
"Of course. You can stay with me, okay?" I ask. He nods and looks back. His disheveled hair and the dark rims around his eyes tell me he hasn't showered or slept in the last few days. He must've been on the run for a while.
