I stepped through the doors of the lift and looked at the slip of paper the lady at the front desk gave me. I pressed the level 9 button and the doors closed. I've always hated how if you're going up in a lift it feels like you're going down, but it also feels as if it's not moving at all.

The door dinged, interrupting my thoughts as it opened. I looked at the paper. Room 194. The lady said that if I walked to the left and then turned right it would be right there, so I started walking.

Five minutes later and I was still walking. Did she say left then right? Or was it right then left? At this point I'd decided just to find someone and ask them. I walked around a little more and soon enough bumped into someone. Literally bumped into them. So embarrassing.

"I'm so sorry! Are you ok?" I asked a little timidly. "Don't worry about me, I'm completely fine. But if you don't mind me asking what are you doing here? I haven't seen you before." "Oh! Right! I was actually trying to find someone because I think I'm a little lost. I'm looking for room 194. Do you know where it is?" I asked. "Wait. Are you Choi Kai by any chance?" He asked after a moment. "Y-yeah I am. Why?" "Oh! I was actually looking for you! My name's Felix and I was sent to come and get you! Wait. That sounds creepy. I'm in the group that you have been accepted into, and our leader asked me to escort you. That's better."

I let out a sigh of relief and followed Felix to the room. When we got there he scanned his card and the door swung open, revealing seven guys running around and chasing each other. Felix cleared his throat loudly and they all stopped. "Guys, this is Kai." He said. I bowed and waved at them, shaking in my boots.

"Hey, it's nice to meet you! I'm chan, and I'm the oldest of the group. I'm also the leader so if you have any questions feel free to ask, though the other members will answer anything they can." He smiled and then all the others introduced themselves. As they introduced themselves they did the thing where they looked at my eyes for a millisecond, then pretended that they didn't see anything but plain normal eyes.

Once everyone had introduced themselves we decided to play a get to know you game. We sat in a circle chan grabbed a water bottle. "Ok, so how this game works is someone will spin the bottle, and whoever it lands on will be asked a question by the person who spun it. Makes sense?" I nodded and chan spun the bottle.

It slowed down and eventually landed on the guy who had introduced himself as changbin. "Ok. Binnie... Have you ever dated a man?" "You know I'm gay you fucker." He replied, staring chan straight in the eye. "Language changbin." Chan said, smirking slightly.

Changbin made a face and then spun the bottle again, and this time it landed on me. "Kai... how old are you?" He asked. How did I know that I'd be asked that first? "I'm 18." I said. As soon as I finished, the young energetic boy called Jeongin jumped up and yelled "I'M NOT THE YOUNGEST ANYMORE!"

He sat back down and smiled, just like nothing happened. I spun the bottle and it landed on Felix. He smiled and looked at me expectedly. "Have you found your soulmate?" I asked, not really being able to think of anything better to ask him. "No, none of us have actually. I hope I find mine soon though." He said, spinning the bottle again.

This went on for a while longer before we decided to call it a day and go home. Chan said that all my stuff had already been delivered to the dorm, so I wouldn't have to pick anything up.
