The time for our comeback had just officially been posted, and I couldn't be more nervous. A new comeback meant a concert, and that meant I would be preforming in front of the fans for the first time ever.
We had changed some of the lines in original songs so that I wouldn't just be standing there the whole concert, and we'd edited the dance so that I could dance with the others. We had been practicing the whole day, and it was late. Chan told us that we'd done enough for the day, but I decided to stay because I really needed to make sure my dancing was up to scratch. The others went home and I was left there to practice.
I practiced well into the night, trying to make sure that everything would be perfect by Saturday, the day of the concert. I practiced all the songs we'd be performing countless times, but I still had trouble marking one of the steps in all in looking natural. I tried practicing the particular step over and over but still it didn't look quite right.
I didn't notice that while I was dancing Felix had walked in and sat on the couch. I also didn't notice the countless about of staff that had stuck their head in the door, wondering why someone was still here.
I turned to my bag to get a drink, and there was Felix, sitting and watching me. He handed me my water and I took a large sip. "Kai why are you still here? It's three am! You should be in bed!" He said, arms crossed. "So should you Hyung." I replied, putting my water into the table. "I was, but I can't sleep when I know you're here working your ass off when it's fucking three am!" "I'm not perfect Hyung! I've been working on one little step for ages because it doesn't look natural!" I said, looking right into his eyes. "Then let me help you, so we can go home and sleep, because I'm not going until you do Kai."
He stood up and I put on the song. I skipped to the bit I was having trouble with and showed him what I meant. He skipped back to the start of that part and stood behind me. "Bring your leg outward on the down beat..." he placed his hand on my thigh and pulled it out a bit. "...and your arm up slightly. Tuck your dead arm behind your back a bit, it'll look better. Now try."
He started the music and I danced, just like he told me to and it looked perfect. I tried it again, and again, and again until I was absolutely sure that I'd gotten it. I disconnected my phone and packed my stuff into my bag. "Let's go." I said, taking his hand and walking out the door.
We got into the car and I started to drive. (BAby We caN DO tHis EveRY dAy aND NigHt... Chan we all know you wrote it.) we soon got back to the dorms and walked slowly, trying not to wake up the other members. Felix hopped into bed and I went to shower, because I smelled really sweaty.
When I finished, I walked out and Felix waved me to his bed. "I sleep better with you next to me." He said. "How do you sleep better with me next to you when we only just started sleeping next to each other?" I asked as I hopped in next to him. "I adjust to new sleeping habits easily." He said, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me closer. "Well if you want me to sleep next to you then we need to get a bigger bed, because both my feet and arms are dangling." I said, closing my eyes. "Well we can work that out later, but sleep now."
