The Break Up and Down

Ty Lee's POV

I woke up feeling...

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

I can't believe how everything has just fallen into place, suddenly my world is perfect and I've never been happier. Honestly I think nothing can go wrong!

"Ty Lee, your phone won't stop ringing please pick it up before I melt it", Azula groaned whilst taking a pillow and placing it on her head to block out my continuously irritating ringtone.

Guess I was so deep in happy thoughts I didn't even notice my phone. I climbed over Azula to reach my phone, I lay across her back as the ringing stopped, Azula huffed as I shifted my weight to get more comfortable, to take a look at the many messages that are covering the screen.

"thank god that's over", Azula turned, knocking me off her, I raised a brow as I read the never ending messages, she was still for a moment until it sunk in. "Wait, who the hell is begging for your attention this early?", she moved back to get closer to me, so she can not so subtly look at my phone.

But before she could I turned it off and bit my lip, "It's Mai, she really isn't doing well", I'm seriously worried about her right now, even more now that this has just happened. "I should've let her stay here last night", I shouldn't have left her with Zuko either.

"Huh? Why? Ugh what is she going on about now?", Azula groaned and wrapped an arm around my waist. "You're always having to look after her, what happened to looking after me?", She pouted, pulling me in by my hips, so her front was firmly pressed into my back, god Azula not the time.

"I have plenty of time to look after you, thought I did a pretty good job of looking after you last night", I laughed lightly and turned my phone back on, I messaged Mai to arrange a time to meet, I am not letting her suffer alone.

"Yeah but you could always do it again", She continued to pull me in, clearly not planning on letting me go anytime soon, I placed a hand on hers taking it slowly off and leant back into her.

"Mhm, me doing all the work again?", I teased her and quickly turned to face her twisting us both over so I'm sat on top. I pinned her hand against the bed and leant forward so our lips were almost touching. Dang she is blushing hard. "Red suits you 'Zula", I laughed lightly and kissed her on the cheek.

I moved off her and stood up, "We're off to Mai's because she needs us, I'm not arguing about it, get your cute blushing face out of bed and get ready", I searched the room for clothes to wear, seeing our outfits from the previous night all over the floor, I'll clean them up later.

"Alright", Azula rolled her eyes and sat up, watching me dig through all my clothes to find the right thing to wear, I don't know what colour I'm feeling today or maybe patterns? No that's too much. "But promise me we'll get back to this later", She stood up behind me and lightly moved my hair away from covering the back of my neck and planted a soft kiss on my skin.

My whole body was in shock from that single kiss, it was almost electric, I've literally got goosebumps. 

"Oh hell yeah we will".

We left pretty much straight after getting ready, Azula seemed very keen to get going. The morning air was cold and wet, the roads were full of either city smoke or mist. Standing outside Mai's home was the worst part, the buzzer seemed broken and she wasn't picking up so I almost became an ice cube.

"You're kidding me? You're wearing the biggest jumper I have ever seen and yet you're cold?", Azula frowned as she faced me, crossing her arms with an eye brow raised.

"I'm always cold", I huffed, feeling my teeth chattering as I speak.

"c'mere then", she rolled her eyed and pulled me into a hug. I'm lucky to be this close to a pretty powerful fire bender, she's my very own personal heater, it's nice that she feels comfortable doing this in public, makes me feel even warmer.
